Not the correct room reserved,safe in room did not work had to call maintenance, paid for myself and friend for breakfast each morning told only paid for one person. Smoke detector went off due to issue with room over heating and interrogated by staff.

Op zich prima voor een overnachting. Redelijk in de buurt van evenementen. Daardoor waarschijnlijk ook een stuk duurder dan normaal. Kamer zag er op het eerste oog prima uit, maar er was ook afval onder het bed te vinden. Hier en daar slijtage wat hersteld kan worden en daardoor net niet helemaal netjes. Ontbijt was prima, uitgebreid, maar niet top. Ook door één of andere verbouwing op de eerste 2 verdiepingen, kwam het wat slordig over. Parkeren voor € 20 kan ook wel anders.

"Good in many respects, but..."
Very friendly and accommodating desk staff. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. Everything in good condition. Bathroom was nice and well-lighted. The rest of the room had poor lighting--not bright enough to read by. The desk was hard to use--no room for a chair, so I had to sit (not very comfortably) on the edge of the bed to use my laptop computer. Good location close to the major museums and two tram lines. Proximity to Vondelpark was a big plus for us.

Great Location close to the city with tram in front. Kind sttaff, large rooms with very nice bathroom. Mostly clean, however sometimes the daily room service forgot new cups or towells.

Too expensive for the service and quality of the rooms. No clear description of the room categories on booking.com. Missing coffee machine, broken bed and table.
When flagging this to the reception, very harsh unfriedly response .. .
The hotel charges for everything (e.g. early check-in,..) but has no intention to compensate for missing services or broken and worn out furniture !?!
Even in the morning the room cleaning crew is trying to push you for checkout before you 11am ... entering room without awaiting your response ...

Honestly, really bad hotel !
Only good thing is the situation, but but the rooms are dark, damp and the smell is horrible ...
