We purchased a door from VUFOLD for £1,519.20, expecting a high-quality product and reliable service. However, our experience has been deeply frustrating.

At no point during the purchase process were we informed of a strict three-day window to report any damages. When our carpenter opened the box, we discovered that one of the glass panels was broken. We thoroughly searched VUFOLD’s website and found no mention of this three-day damage reporting policy.

We reached out to customer service and spoke with Tom, who outright refused to provide a free replacement. Despite following up twice to request a quote for purchasing a replacement glass panel, we received no response.

As a result, we are now left with a £1,519.20 door that is unusable due to a missing glass panel. This level of service is unacceptable. A company selling premium-priced products should stand behind them and communicate their policies clearly.

I had quite a few pre-sales enquiries which were answered quickly and satisfactorily.

The web site is easy to navigate and the ordering process is easy.

The order was delivered on time and in good condition.

I would happily recommend Vufold.

I spent over £20K on doors and windows and will never use this company again. The aftercare is non existent and when I complained about the trickle vents whistling they told me to look google it and look for YouTube videos. I am now seeking legal advice. STAY AWAY.

"Very Poor Delivery Service"

The only reason for the 3 start, is for the Poor Delivery Service.
I ordered a very heavy aluminium front door, 1m width & 2m height. It suppose to be a 2 man delivery (which I confirmed prior) But it's was Just the driver turned up with the door in a small van with NO assistance nor tools.
I couldn't return it as it was already a late delivery and my builders were waiting for the door. It was extremely big and heavy door and I was end up helping unload and bring it inside without any tools or trolly. As a result I sendup injured my right leg.
If you don't change your delivery company, you will damage your reputation.

Inspire 4 doors. Fantastic product, delivery and aftersales.
This has been a really good experience. Doors are great quality, easy to fit (diy) and look great.
Had a problem that 1 of the glass panels had a flaw, exchanged immediately with no fuss. I bought these as we had an open conservatory which was so cold, and did not want an insulated roof, these have transformed our house , its stopped the cold and chill from the conservatory but still retains the open feel even when doors are closed, and when opened you would not know they were there.

"Inspire white bifold review "

Had the white Vufold Inspire internal fold flat doors fitted by my joiner some months back and they are ok, however they don’t truly “fold flat” into each other as the protruding door handle prevent it from doing so. I Did not fit the door stop buffer kit provided as it would spoil the look of the door having this sticking out. Solution would be to have a recessed door handle option.
Some paint finish imperfections spotted where the paint is not as smooth finish where the frame meets the glazing. Vufold do not provide a paint touch up pen or any “gap covering” architrave / trim options. This would be a useful. There was one end piece of the frame provided that was rough cut and needed a lick of paint and I needed to source a RAL paint match which wasn’t easy. Just honest feedback from my experience but for the money good value, look nice and would recommend.

I recently bought beautiful wooden door. Door came wrapped up in foil. At first glance it looked ok. Few days later when unwrapping it, it turned out chipped and scratched.
Customer service replied…you had 72 hours bla bla bla, should’ve checked the door under the microscope, you are incompetent, so is your carpenter, you must have damaged the door. You are on your own. After their reply I’ve changed my mind and I think 1 star it is.

I was very anxious about ordering another set of doors. It had been 12 years since my last order and I was replacing wooden bifold's for the aluminium....size wise like for like but as its aluminium the sill design is different. The website is quite clear. I d like to have seen a more detailed spec regarding sizes in more detail.

My wife and I are very pleased with the whole experience. I think I asked for 3 or more different quotes over a few weeks and the drawings and quotes were clear. The GRP door and frame are very well constructed and operate well and draft free.

We would not hesitate to recommend VuFold or their products to anyone.

Fantastic customer service from order, shipping and delivery. Had the pleasure of dealing with Francesca who dealt with all of my many questions quickly. Really friendly company who I would definitely use again.
3 door sliding aluminium patio door is fantastic and the instructions were easy to follow. Lovely opening and closing on the doors, despite the weight of the glass 10/10 for me : )
