Our new builder has come up with a solution that means we can leave the frame where it is.
Over the months each time I have called, whoever and wherever the person I speak to is, all have been extremely supportive, friendly, helpful and accommodating.
During a year of build troubles on a 10 week project caused entirely by the builder changing even the structural design himself, I have totally appreciated this.
As a retired Finance Manager, if only more organisations followed your companies approach and realised the “free” benefit to their company of an excellent customer experience.

I have used vufold on two occasions now and I find their products to be of fantastic quality, reliable and at a great price. Further to this I have had to speak to their aftercare department and the service I have received is first class. Their response is swift and has been very helpful. I will continue to recommend them for anyone looking for bifold doors and have no hesitation in contacting them in the future when we are next in the market for their products!

"Very poor after sales service and product"

We've had a problem with the door lock since day one. Our 2 panel doors do not have a proper handle per se. It is the most ridiculous handle which you have to twist but must not pull! Almost impossible not to do when you're trying to lock a door. Vufold replaced the handle once but when it broke again, they charged for it. The doors still do not lock properly and the company wants to charge £397 to carry out an onsite inspection - ludicrous!

Sad to say we definitely would not recommend the company or the product.

WARNING!!!
If you order anything from this company make sure that you check every item thoroughly while the driver is with you. Open every box and check that the contents are not damaged in any way.
When I ordered these doors I told David the salesman that we would not be fitting them for a while, so he very helpfully kept them stored for me and despatched them after the 3 week holding period.
When the delivery driver arrived he was really helpful and after counting the boxes we stored them in the garage until our builder arrived 2 weeks later. When he opened the first box to construct the frame he noticed a crack in the frame so my husband telephoned Vufold and they said that they would get back to us, which they did within the hour. He was told that they would not replace the damaged frame, but we could purchase another one for an amount in excess of £400.00. He was told that it was our fault that we did not check every item upon delivery. The packaging was not damaged in anyway and because their reviews were so good we never imagined that they would send us faulty goods. So this is just a WARNING to potential customers to check every item because you will get no sympathy from this company.

"2.7m Oak internal bifold"

2.7m Oak internal bifold. Veneer on doors is lifting and bubbling due to poor manufacture. They’re blaming me and say i used wrong stain. I had called them before application and was told water based stain fine. Whatever you use they’ll tell you its wrong. As a professional decorator I’ve varnished thousands of oak door and none have ever delaminated like these. The veneer they use is paper thin and poorly glued in areas which results in it lifting. They are refusing to replace the door or even have it inspected by the technical team. The product is a great idea but its let down badly by poor manufacturing and exceptionally poor customer care. As you can see by reply below they’ll change their tune to suit . External varnish is absolutely no harsher than internal. First of all they said no water based finish , now it’s no quick drying. Ludicrous. If oak can’t cope with water finishes then somethings wrong. On another reply they stated the doors are fit for purpose even tho the veneer is falling off? You can see from other reviews on here when something goes wrong this company just want to sell you another door instead of recognising the problem.
Why won’t they send a technician to inspect the product. If the finish was at fault the veneer would have lifted everywhere not just in two specific areas.
