"Excellent service and support"

Had some problems with the locking mechanism of a 9 year old Elite bifold door. I contacted Vufold via the chat function and was referred to the customer service team. Their response was quick, knowledgeable and helpful. They supplied a replacement gear mechanism and a link to an instruction video. When I reported a further problem (of my own making) they were helpful and patient with me as they helped me resolve the problem.
Great service, great support!

"Disgusting - Do NOT buy from them"

It is quite evident with the 10% of reviews being 1*, but I can attest to this with first had experience. The aftercare service is by far the worst I have experienced. They want your hard earned money and that is it.

We bought a set of bi-fold internal doors for the best part of £900.

They came on the date expected via courier, where they were placed in the front room, safe and untouched. 8 days later, after significant modifications to the house to accomodate the new doors, we opened, discovering a massive crack down the edge of a frame. We immediately contacted the aftercare team, where we were simply told that we should have inspected the goods within 72 hours (there's a sticker on one of the boxes, which I suspect had been implemented for this very reason; so they can deny any sort of recourse for their poor quality control or liabity. We were told "the only options are to buy a new part" (£274.15) top!) Or refund less the £274.15. This isn't how the law works!

It's absolutely disgusting and I would advise avoiding at all costs.

I would advise upon delivery, telling the courier to wait whilst you inspect every element of the packages and not signing the "looks okay" form or let the couriers go until checked. I would not mind, but not many people would be in a position to install the doors themselves and so wouldn't know what they were actually looking for. Absolutely horrific exlerience.

If this gets a response from their excuse of an "aftercare team" I will update any and all who wish to know the outcome, which will most like be a big 2 fingers up to us; all consumers.

Update: I have been offered the replacement piece for £137.07 - Absolute cowboy outfit. Sends a broken piece and holds you to randsom, as without it you're entirely stuffed. I suppose Lizzy, John and Richard need to fuel their Range Rovers somehow! What a joke.

The quality of these windows is exceptional, the team are very knowledgeable and helpful, replying quickly to any questions

They were also very helpful when I needed to put a dog flap into one of the doors by assisting with detailed specifications that I could give to the glazier….

"Shameful response"

I recently purchased 3 sets of of bifold doors from Vufold . The sales team were helpful and delivery efficient however when we came to fit our doors ,3 weeks later, one of the doors was damaged on the bottom edge . I contacted Vufold immediately, sent pictures , and when they seemed to imply that the damage had occurred after delivery explained that I’d taken delivery personally and had stored them flat on the floor of an unused room , wrapped , so was sure the damage wasn’t done post delivery. Vufold refused to replace the door saying it should have been checked within 72 hrs of delivery and pictures of the packaging taken before removal. They did offer to sell me a replacement door . Sadly I will not be using this company again.

"Excellent service, competitive price"

We used VuFold for a set of 3300mm new bifold doors. VuFold ended up being one of the cheaper - or more competitive - of the suppliers we used for our extension but also, happily, one of the best. I have been so impressed. The team noticed a fault with a glass pane before it was even delivered. The ease with which they put this issue right was impressive. We would recommend them to anyone.

"Fantastic internal bifold doors."

I ordered two sets of 1500mms prefinished, white, glazed bifold doors in December and they arrived shortly after ordering. They were installed by by our kitchen fitter, who had no previous experience with this type of system, and he was impressed by how easy they were to fit and the quality of the product, as indeed I am. They have made huge difference to our bungalow, giving an open look and easy access to our lounge/ dining room, kitchen and hall. Customer service has been excellent throughout and I would recommend Vufold without reservation.

I ordered replacement handles for my bifold doors which arrived quickly. Unfortunately when my carpenter came to fit them they did not fit
I contacted customer service at Vufold and Cheryl was extremely helpful in ensuring I received a refund even though it was outside the usual time that returns and refunds are accepted

Perfect, the door came slightly damaged in transit, the customer service was brilliant and they quickly replaced the door.

Avoid, poor aftercare and non existent guarantee, have an issue with condensation on a front door, every time I contact them they fob me off
