PLEASE BE AWARE!!!!!! THIS WILL COST YOU LOADS OF MONEY AND STRESS IF YOU GET ANY ISSUES WITH THEM!
I HAVE REPORTED THE NON-FUNCTIONALITY OF THIS DOOR ON THE 17th of May but it was the same as the below answer a defensive 7mm “ tolerance”.( I’ve sent proof of this)
I HAVE’T REFUSED A RESOLUTION!!!- ON THE 16th of May I have proof of a promise replacement door on 4 to 5 weeks lead time which failed to happened with 0 communication until THIS REVIEW WAS LIVE.
(This is an up of the below review hopefully will help others to avoid the stress I’ve been trough.
I’m SHOCKED 😳 about how this company is operating.
JUST TO REITERATE THAT I HAVE A STUCK, NON FUNCTIONAL DOOR, I HAVE WAITED FOR A RESOLUTION FOR OVER 5 WEEKS THEN MY REVIEW WAS POSTED. I LIVE IN THE PROPERTY WITH MY WIFE AND KIDS.
Firstly they have insulted me and my family by saying that I’m trying to get a free door quote from email” As previously stated, our communication should have been better, and I do sincerely apologise again for this, however this does not equate to you intentionally keeping a product and receiving a full refund”-I HAVE A NON FUNCTIONAL FRONT DOOR FOR OVER 5 WEEKS.
If you dare not to be patient in your own home for more that 5 ESTIMATED weeks to sort out a non functional door and help resolving the issue, they are seeking legal advice to fight the case. Again I quote from they’re emails: “ Our solicitors have advised us that should your chargeback be successful, you do have to make the goods available for our collection. We will not be attending site to remove the product from the opening as this was not works completed by us.”
ONE OTHER SHOCKING FACT IS THAT THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW YOU TO TALK TO THEIR SUPERIORS: QOUTE: “ It is myself who you would need to deal with regarding matters”
After all of these I had the final reply: “ Unfortunately, I do not feel you are interpreting my communications as intended“
I have paid for a professional to fit this door( not cheap) day rate in the uk, then had to pay a second day to adjust a faulty door- NOW THEY ARE EXPECTING ME TO PAY AGAIN FOR SOMEONE TO REMOVE THE DOOR AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE FOR THEM SO THEY CAN COLLECT AND ISSUE A REFUND as this is their final given option.
MY INITIAL REVIEW
I can classify this as being the worst experience I’ve had with any of the online purchase. The door is really poor quality. The edges are really rough cut. At fitting stage our carpenter spent 2 days on trying to the door but in the end we found out that the door has a 7mm difference from top to bottom which makes it impossible to operate. 7mm is not tolerance on a door( as told by their customer support).It doesn’t fit in the frame, being bowed, it doesn’t lock or unlock, there is no adjustment for 7mm tolerance.( Vufold “” All doors can experience bowing or thermal movement due to temperature changes–once temperatures then settle or drop the door should then return to its normal flat plane. There is no set guidance for this but generally within the industry bows of up to 7mm can be deemed acceptable and anywhere between 5mm top to bottom is normal to see with temperature changes, this being said I do appreciate that this should be a constant with the door and as previously mentioned it would be expected that the door returns to its normal flat plane’’) Just to mention that this door came like this after 4 extra weeks of quality checks( 8 weeks in total for delivery). We are currently using the patio door as this one is completely blocked now. It looks cheap and nasty. I’ve seen doors before from cheap make to really good quality stuff and I am able to compare. I’ve been promised a replacement door in 4/5 weeks but after 5 weeks nothing happened, we still have a non functional front door.
I’ve started the process of trying to get a solution trough citizen advice because I’m pretty sure now that I’ve been scammed by this lot.
Gutted that I’ve chosen them instead of my local supplier but I was mislead by the quality presented on their website.
Had a phone call in the third week after purchase to be informed that the door didn’t meet the quality requirements and a slight delay will occur on delivery. I understand that things can go wrong, as I’m in the construction industry for over 15 years now and I know how things work. The door was delivered 4 weeks after. So 8 weeks in total.
Now the stress starts. It was delivered without the glass for the side light.
THIS IS NOT A 2kg PRODUCT THAT CAN SIMPLY BE RETURNED. IT COSTS MONEY TO BE INSTALLED AND REMOVED!!

"Quality internal bi-fold doors"
Great looking, quality doors that slide very smoothly. These doors have opened up part of our downstairs to provide a bit more of an open plan feel, but with the ability to close them when needed.
We had a carpenter fit them and he was relaxed at how easy they were to install. One thing to be aware of is to read the instructions. Our carpenter put the middle door hinges on the wrong way so that with the doors fully open, they needed to fold slightly further back than just 90 degrees. This is not a problem for our set up as it folds into a gap and nicely. But for the doors to stack at 90 degrees when open ensure the hinges are on the right way around.
I did feel that the blinds were a bit expensive. However, they look great, work well and allow some privacy between rooms. We didn’t use the magnets to hold the doors open, as we didn’t need it, but did use the door stopper, which helps hold the door fully open otherwise it stays open at 90 degrees. The trackless design works well to create the flow of the room, there is a little bit of flex when opening, but this is fine and to be expected.
I did leave a message for customer services when I thought the doors had a mark on them (which turned out to not be the case and my mistake), and I also wanted to check on the blinds (which I hadn’t realised were due to delivered at a different date). The customer service team responded by phone and email within an hour and were excellent – thanks Cheryl and Frankie.
Overall, great doors and Vufold were excellent to work with. The doors have made a huge improvement to our house. Thanks.

The doors look fantastic and were surprisingly easy to install (I’d say I’m an intermediate level DIY’er).
The team were so helpful with all my questions when I was enquiring, the delivery was spot on time and then the aftercare was exceptional.
Really pleased with the product and the excellent service. Will be using them again.

Received my door with excess paint on the glass and insufficient paint in other areas. I have been told to clean off the excess paint and repaint the door myself. I was expecting to receive a finished door, but sadly this was not the case. The pictures look great, however, not value for money!

I ordered custom built & custom sized Vufold Finesse internal folding sliding doors with 3 frosted glass panels built to our specifications back in October 2022 to fit a non standard sized aperture. Doors were made in Indonesia. They arrived 23-2-23 ( expected delivery date) I've had the doors fitted & they fit perfectly! The carpenter said the instructions and video were very useful, the fitting was relatively straight forward, its handy that the door mechanisms are reversible. Shane & Francesca in particular were very helpful, professional, polite & informative with detailed responses. Francesca kept me apprised of the progress of the doors journey into port & updated me with anticipated delivery date, what to expect & the process. There were 2 delivery men to deliver the doors into the required room.
The ONLY thing I would say is that the doors could do with extra packaging on the corners of each door panel as I noticed the delivery guys rested the doors on the ground on the corners which could have damaged them?
All in all, I can whole heartedly recommend this company Thank you!

I bought a set of internal bi-fold doors from Vufold and have to say that I couldn't be happier. All the way through the process, the team at Vufold were helpful, professional and courteous. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Due to needing non-standard sizes, we had a 12 week lead time on our order but the communications from Vufold were timely and informative (not just 'holding emails').
The doors themselves are really well made with very high quality door furniture which provide a really smooth action. Our builders/fitters commented that they'd fitted loads of bi-folds in the past but these ones were really good. They also noted that the included instructions were extremely detailed and this made fitting a simple task.
When I need more, I'll definitely being buying from Vufold again.
