About a year ago I bought the Vufold Supreme 1.8m (aluminium) bifold door. It's been excellent and I've been very please with it. Unfortunately, yesterday, I managed to break the key off in the lock, due entirely to my own carelessness. Speaking today to Vufold's Customer Service Supervisor (many thanks James) I was patiently talked through how to quickly replace the lock. Really impressed with the service provided.

Very helpful and knowledgeable sales staff. I was kept informed about the lead time to delivery, which was made on time. The bi-fold door is now in place and looks great.

I communicated by email with a sales associate and he provided all the information I needed, including relevant drawings to ensure the units fitted. I received a call during the order period suggesting they were quite busy, and they wished to forward schedule a delivery date. They delivered on the forecast date and in the expected time window during the day.
I have now fitted the first of the pair. Instructions were clear and full. My only minor issues were quite a bit of swarf in the vent unit (easily cleaned out), and the triple glazed units are actually very heavy. They were quite difficult to transport upstairs. Fitting the doors on the hinges was quite difficult due to their weight.
Very pleased with first one - one more to fit!

"Instant positive customer service!"

I received an instant positive response to my enquiry about a bi-fold door catch that was failing in strong winds. Having viewed photos James immediately dispatched a replacement part, at no cost, which, when installed, solved the problem. Top drawer costomer service! Bear that in mind folks when choosing bi-fold doors.

"Awful Experience - ongoing"

Operate a family run construction company. Ordered from VuFold purely because client chose a ViFold produce and have been thoroughly disappointed from that moment forward.
VuFold suggest that lead time is 3-4 weeks (longer than all of our usual suppliers) but placed the order following a telephone conversation with an operative who advised that three week should be achievable. Since then we have had multiple emails that offered no update other than to say there were delays and that a further update would be given in the future.
Now past the four weeks and with our clients previous back doors removed, insurance invalid and a beautiful completed construction project we have been told the doors are damaged and absolutely no commitment given with regard a delivery date.
Clearly Vufold have zero input in the manufacture of these units and simply ship this out with no ability to control.
Disappointing that phone calls are always answered when the option to speak to someone in relation to "new sales" is selected on the phone system but get voicemail every time when option is selected for anything to do with an existing order.
Do not touch this company.

"Purchased some aluminium bifold from…"

Purchased some aluminium bifold from them because of good reviews after receiving my order 11 days late outside the 4 week lead time! Once fitted they looked ok, but some of the seals/ gaskets are short and stains on the mitres on the doors showed up in the sun! Frame was damaged but able to hide it with upvc trim, in communication with them over sending out replacement seal/gasket sent over a clear picture of the problems. Not hard to send out replacement stuff if it's a manufacturer fault! If not resolved then I'll make the client aware of the problems and I know what they will say replace the whole lot!

"Problematic Patio door lock."

I have bifold patio doors supplied by Vufold and installed almost 10 years ago which have worked flawlessly since.
Recently, the locking mechanism started to get stuck.
I called Vufold, they found my original order, diagnosed the fault and a replacement part shipped which I received 2 days later and has resolved the issue.

The Vufold support person I spoke to was clear and concise and asked for pictures to clarify and from there knew exactly on what was needed to resolve the issue.

I was expecting a costly repair bill but it was all sorted without any quibble.
As well as this, the Vufold support person answered various questions I asked on general maintenance for these doors and all feedback provided back to me on a timely basis.

I'd expect this type of service from a top quality service orientated company and have to pay through the nose for it from the start. But, to get this same high quality service almost 10 years later..... I can honestly say you would struggle, if ever, to get that type of after care.

Suffice to say I would certainly recommend them going forward.

"Won’t refund for manufacturing defects"

Purchased the door and returned in original unopened packaging then they claim that the agent was damaged however reviewing the evidence provided it looked like a manufacturing defect. Either the packaging supplied was in adequate or the quality control didn’t see the defect now I’m 500 quid out of pocket. Charged back started.

Bought a patio door from them which was displayed. No changes on size just a standard 2.1 x 1.8. On the pictures it's size and slime but arrived bulky. The step is higher then upvc and on the top of that I have to unload myself because the driver JUST deliver. You have to unload yourself from the truck. That's been told after placing the order of course.
Then ring them about the return been told its a special order made to measure and can not be returned. I wouldn't mind to pay the delivery cost but how come it's a special order if I pick the size from the screen. No changes nothing. They're excuse was it's all been writen on we found eventualy by diging and downloading the fors hidden at the bottom page. Clearly it wasn't easy seeing other ways I wouldn't had this problem.
So been left with higher then got at the moment door step on which the kids will be tripping over and bulky upvc looking door. Will not recommend anyone to deal with them. And don't bother emailing them, no respond.
Update:
Wish I could add the pictures to show you HOW CLEAR you provide the information about the product. No indication the standart size is a ,,custom made,, and can not be cancelled or returned.
On the ,,Product measurement,, there is NO sizes of the threshold or the frame . If these things would have been displayed clearly you know no one would buy from you that's why they been hidden and I mean that.
