"Dissapointing"

The handover was a bit short and I put that down to the fact I was purchasing a later version of my existing car. I also had a problem with my trade-in which I explained to the sales person and agreed to leave a "goodwill payment". They would contact me in a few days with a cost for the repair which could possibly afford me a refund. Checking through the car when I got home, I discovered there was no handbook for the Sat Nav system. I emailed a few days later about the missing handbook and an update on the repair. The salesman promised to have the handbook posted to me that evening and said the workshop was very busy. 5 weeks later, I have no handbook or communication regarding the repair. Not impressed and doubtful of any future dealings with Jennings.

From the first email enquiry about a car I had seen to the part ex quote and final choice of car the whole process was simple , clear, met all my needs and resulted in receiving my new car in a week! Helpful staff at Jennings Ford Direct and car delivered personally to my home .

The response to my original online interest was quick. The initial Sales lady was very professional and friendly as was the subsequent Sales Manager. I would recommend Jennings Ford to anyone.

"a refreshingly good car buying experience that was spoilt only by the poor way in which my new car was valeted."

A very easy and friendly car buying experience. Staff were polite and friendly and made the process of part exchanging a pleasant experience. What I thought was a good car buying experience was spoilt by the fact the car hadn't been cleaned very well. During the handover I could see Brown marks on the inside of the windscreen and on parts of the interior trim. I asked the salesman if I could borrow a cloth and he asked somebody to deal with the dirty interior. Even after pointing out that the car hadn't been cleaned properly I drove away finding that the interior hadn't been cleaned properly. The poor quality valet was even more evident when it rained and the paintwork didn't react as a recently polished car would. A small amount of polish applied to the paintwork would have caused rainwater to bead. It would appear that my new car has had little more than a wash and a quick wipe down. Very poor. I would highly recommend Jennings Ford and the sales staff but think the vehicle prep team are letting the side down.

"Picked up car, not cleaned and smelling smokey!"

Picked up car, yes second hand as we were told, but still over £6000 worth of second hand car. Travelled almost 200 mile to collect it. Not cleaned at all on the inside and washed but certainly not waxed on the outside. Now I know as we were told its a second hand car but the very least I would expect is for it to be clean.
Anyway, nice car, friendly people.

"outstanding service"

From the second I walked through the door the staff were very helpful. The salesman I dealt with was Chris, he was very knowledgable and bent over backwards to help. I had already seen a car on the website I liked so Chris gave me the key to have a look with no pressure. We then got down to business, Chris did his best to get me the best deal possible and explained all of the options avaliable. I went back the next day to test drivethe car and loved it. From agreeing to buy to getting the car it took a week. Chris went through all of the features of the car and how they worked, I even called a few times after getting the car to ask questions and he was more than happy to help! I couldn't rate the service and car more highly

"GREAT SERVICE, GREAT CAR"

Was encouraged to use Jennings by previous reviews and all went well - couple of small issues but both got speedily sorted out with no hassle (MOT not sent with car, this was posted later and no wheel nut, we purchased this easily and were reimbursed). Car was delivered safely and on time to our location in Hampshire. Only had the car a few days but no regrets so far!
