"THIEVES!!!!"
I recently had an unfortunate experience with Toolots that has left me extremely disappointed and compelled to share my story. I needed to cancel an order, a situation that I anticipated would be handled smoothly and professionally. However, the reality was far from it.
Firstly, the process of canceling the order was unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. The customer service representative I spoke with—an employee whose name rhymes with Pen Remorse’O (they asked I remove his name, so this is a warning to anyone who unfortunately gets his absolute lack of assistance)—was not only unhelpful but also seemed indifferent to my situation. There was a lack of clear communication and guidance on how to proceed, making the whole experience stressful.
What's more disheartening is their refund policy. I was informed that it would take an entire month to receive my refund. This is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their financial practices. A month-long wait for a refund is not just inconvenient; it is disrespectful to the customer.
Overall, my experience with Toolots has been deeply unsatisfactory. Their customer service is lacking in both efficiency and empathy, and their refund policy is unreasonably slow. I would advise potential customers to consider these factors seriously before making a purchase from Toolots.
UPDATE AS OF 07/25/2024
Here’s a detailed timeline of my experience:
11/20/2023: Placed the order at 1:54 PM and requested cancellation and refund at 2:03 PM, which was reluctantly granted. I was promised a confirmation email with a refund date.
11/22/2023: No confirmation received. Contacted support again and was reassured the refund was processed. Received an erroneous refund date of 01/04/2023, which I presumed was a typo and expected by 01/04/2024.
01/04/2024: No refund received. Continued to wait through January.
01/29/2024: Still no refund received. Emailed Toolots on 01/30/2024 with proof of purchase, refund request, and chat transcripts, but received no response.
02/05/2024: Sent another email demanding resolution; still no response.
Since then, I have called multiple times monthly which they never answer and communicated through their chat support, always receiving the same unhelpful response: "We will send another follow-up to the Accounting Team. You may also email them." These emails receive ZERO response.
Given the total lack of response and resolution, I have no other option but to pursue legal action at this point. I hope they read this in the hopes my issue gets resolved. I have exhausted all avenues and run out of patience at this point. To legal action I go!
SAVE YOUR TIME AND HARD-EARNED MONEY AND DON’T SHOP AT TOOLOTS. THEY ARE THIEVES!

All was as described. Delivered quickly. One minor thing, it seems a new product should be delivered in a new package, not a pieced togethered box.

Found what I was looking for and the price was very reasonable. Ordering was a "snap" and the updates for delivery were appreciated.

Exactly as described. You can't beat the price even with shipping for a Rosin Press that has a hydraulic jack for the plates.
Note that the temperature controller is a PID which maintains the temperature exactly.When checking against a calibrated thermometer the temp controller read 10 oF lower. 210 oF on controller was actually 220 oF. Not unusual for K-type thermocouple but something to check, regardless of brand.

"My product was missing from the package…"
My product was missing from the package when i got it. I got the empty envelope within 3 days but it took multiple emails and phone calls to get the replacements. I finally got what I ordered 30 days later. The 30 days was irritating but what bothered me most was what I was told on the phone. They said, "we are working on it". Every time I said, "Wrong Answer!" I need you to tell me that my product is on the way! Never again will I order from Toolots... this was a very bad experience!
