"5m x 10mtr marquee"

Bought 5m x 10mtr marquee. It was the lightweight one but it really did well through a heavy storm. But unfortuantely 3 of the metal legs got bent which I did expect due to heavey winds. I contacted manufacturer to find out how I can get replacement legs. Carlos (Sales Support Manager) was just brilliant and told me it was not covered under warranty but as a gesture of goodwill they posted the three legs to me free of charge.
I truly recommend this company and wish I had spent bit more buying their heavy duty marquee which I am sure would give a lot more hardy use for long time.

"Excellent Product & Customer Service"

Recently bought a Garden Gazebo 3x4m Forest Superior. The Gazebo is excellent quality and for something so large it was extremely easy to put together (with at least one other person), as all the parts are numbered. I did have an issue with delivery and a bolt thread on one part, but the customer service provided by Michael (delivery) & Henning (bolt thread) was exceptional. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Houseoftents again!

"Wonderful service"

From ordering to delivery the gazebo has been wonderful. Though no fault of the gazebo itself, we needed a part replacing. I spoke with a gentleman today, who couldn’t be more helpful and issued a replacement piece straight away.
Would definitely recommend & purchase again.

"House of Tents supplied Spina Warriors with our first Gazebo."

House of Tents supplied us with our first Gazebo for our events. We had some damage that was weather related of which we knew wasn't covered by the warranty. House of Tents supplied us wiht the parts free of cahrge to help us with our cause. We are now seeking a further Gazebo from House of Tents. Excellent service. Thank you. Spina Warriors CIC

"Worst product ever purchased and rubbish customer service"

I ordered a gazebo on 6th June which duly arrived within a few days. After putting up the frame and roof to check they were ok, we confirmed that all the rest of the parts were present, took the frame down then stored everything in it's original bag until we had time to erect it completely. In the middle of July, with visitors due we once more put the frame and roof up and proceeded to attach the four sides, we were absolutely disgusted with the quality and fit of the sides, nowhere near enough velcro for starters so the sides gape and let in wind and rain, velcro fitted at different heights so each side hangs wonky on the frame and in one place the velcro is so short that the side with the zip on is all bunched up. We needed to use the gazebo so left it up but we and our guests were cold and damp. £250 wasted on a terrible product. I took loads of photos and emailed them with an explanation, to House of Tents, on 17th July. After resending the email 4 times with no response I rang and finally managed to get through to Julian on 27th July, he found my emails and said that Michael would deal with it and get back the next day. By 31st no contact. Thoroughly fed up now I rang again on 3rd August and spoke to Michael who said "I have received many emails", as if that was an excuse for not replying, he looked at the photos I had sent, did a fair bit of tutting and agreed to discuss with his manager, I had requested that I return the gazebo for a refund. Later that evening I received an email stating that as the gazebo had been completely built they were unable to refund my money. WELL HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CHECK IF THE GAZEBO IS OK IF I DON'T BUILD IT???? Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish and not what I expected from a German company. I replied to this email asking again for a refund and they haven't even bothered to respond.
I am compromised health wise and only able to meet family and friends outside so the gazebo seemed like a perfect solution. I am left with a terrible product that is neither waterproof fully or wind proof. If I could give this review no stars at all I would.
14/8/23. Update. House of Tents has requested my order number today 100550392, I look forward to hearing back from them shortly.

The marquee arrived promptly as promised. Unfortunately our event was cancelled so I needed to return. So far everything has gone smoothly and nothing has been too much trouble.

"4x8 missing roof"

My 4x8 tent arrived a couple of months ago and unfortunately, due to the extreme weather we have experienced since then, I was unable to put up the tent.

This week, I decided now was the time, and after unpacking and errecting the frame, I found the most important peice missing.... THE ROOF!!

O dear you might say, but no, I called the customer help line and was able to speak with the most understanding and helpful CS person I have ever had to deal with, could not do enough to help me. BRILLINT!! Knowing I had a function this weekend, he made sure the missing roof was dispatched immediately and lo and behold, on my doorstep the following day, was my roof.

Those of you who have given negative remarks about the customer service, make me wonder if you maybe went in hard instead of explaining your situation in a nice friendly manner. Its not easy working in CS, Ive done it. It is not the fault of the person you are speaking to and if you treat them with respect, you will get repect back. These guys are fantastic, the quality is superb, easy to errect (I did it on my own....however, never again ha ha ha)

Thank you HoT....I will certainly reccomend to anyone.

"Customer service is terrible"

Customer service is terrible.

I bought a 6x3m gazebo in June but wanted to return it (unused in original packaging) as I found a better alternative. The process of returning it has been genuinely the worst of any company I’ve ever dealt with.

They took days to respond to my requests on email so I had to speak to their team in Germany on the phone. They were incapable of telling me when UPS would collect the gazebo which meant they turned up at my house unannounced whilst I was at work.

I then advised them I would be at home the next day or they could collect it from my work on a later date. Guess what; they turned up at my work when I was waiting at home for them. Then the day after that, they again arrive unannounced at my house when I was back at work. I had been completely clear on email and phone but there is clearly no communication between customer service in Germany and the warehouse in Ipswich.

I decided to deal with it myself and booked collection through UPS which went smoothly. The gazebo has now been with them for 2 weeks and I still await my refund.

I am beginning legal action to recover over £400.

AVOID THIS COMPANY.
