Dislikes: Time to pick up car; lack of hours or flexibility to accommodate limited hours; Attempt to charge for imagined damage due to your dusty lot. Nice trick that they responded it took only seven minutes to check in, conveniently not counting my wait time to start. Apparently they were also aware of an attempt to show ‘damage’ until I wiped off the dust.

We booked a Volkswagen T-Roc, but they don't even have this type of car. We got a Peugeot.
We had to wait for almost 2 hours for this car. Every time when we asked how much longer we had to wait: 'he is on his way, 2 minutes.' After an hour he still was on his way. We had to pay € 210 more for the insurance. Next year we are going to rent a car somewhere else.

"Car was good, service was aggressive ..."
We liked that we received a brand new van that more than met our expectations. We disliked all the services around the rental. Upon arrival we were harassed and scared into buying additional insurance, although we had already obtained this from an intermediary platform and repeatedly said we did not want insurance. Upon return, the receiving agent inspected the car intensively, almost as if he was searching for an excuse to give us a hard time. This fear was not unwarranted, given that the other people handing in a car next to us were being smooth-talking into accepting that a tiny scratch mark from a branch qualified as 'damage', although the rentor could wipe out the scratch with a cloth. Will not rent from Avia Split again.

Good price. No hidden costs. Nice car. Polite helpful guys at desk. Only downside took 30 mins to wait for car to be ready.

Vos contrats sur place sont différents du contrat que j'avais en ma possession lors de la réservation de la voiture l'année dernière !
Nous avons du payer 170€ de plus qui n'était pas prévu !
Nous avions pris soin de réserver des assurances avant, que nous avons du reprendre sur place !
Bref, à éviter !

Check out was too dark to do properly. Insufficient lighting.
Hidden charges all over the place. Late check in charges late check out charges.

Car not ready for collection had to wait over 40 minuites.On returning car spurious damage found to car- my insurance charged over 300 euros for two minuits of polishing. Lots of wasted time will NEVER use Avia Rent a car again.
