Charged 40 Eur for car drop off one day earlier (during company working time). The company said it is an agreement modification fee. However, such fee neither was in Avia's terms and conditions, nor DiscoverCars.com

1 Star for AVIA for the rip off strategy of pushing the extra insurance and if you don't pay for the extra insurance (wich has nothing to do with the insurance you already booking with your agent), the will charge EUR 350 for one little scratch.

Our flight from Gothenburg was delayed 20/6/24, when we came to Avias office, was we charged 50 Euro extra on the bill because it was after 21.00.
We where offered a dirty car , who wasn´t washed or cleaned, your personal said that the customer before us hasn´t cleaned it!
We got a second car that was washed and cleaned, and we used it for 5 days, when we returned the car was the operation smooth and your personal very sercice-minded.

Everything was fine with the car.
but the waiting time in the queue to pick up and return the car was about 40 minutes.
Which is very frustrating - after 12 days they still haven't released the money on my credit card. also did not reply to my email.
edit: arrival was late about 1 hour - I was at the airport at 9 pm. waiting 40 minutes in the line. so yes, I was picking a car about 10 pm. and paid additional 50 euro for that. I wasnt the only person who was picking the car.
from the other hand - I was happy that I had a car.

The problem i have i rented the car through a third party and felt like i was been penalized for doing this, i was charged 35 euros for a late pick-up 2 hours late because of my ferry and i did send a message saying the ferry was running late, then changed 50 euros because i was taking the on a ferry?? why when i have full cover??
If you don't want a person to go through a third party don't sell it on there platform to start with. I would not have found Avia Car

Great price and good service. Only downside was that we weren’t met at arrivals as the emails suggested. It wasn’t too difficult to find the help desk and the actual compound was only a few metres outside the airport gates

Friendly staff - even though we arrived more than two hours after opening hours. The process with paperwork went smoothly- both by pick up and the delivery back. Car nice and new.

"Quand nous sommes arrivées à l’aéroport…..."
Quand nous sommes arrivées à l’aéroport de SPLIT l’avion avait 1h de retard pour des raisons techniques et nous sommes arrivées à l’agence à 21h 17 la personne qui nous a reçu n’a pas tenu compte du retard de l’avion et nous a fait payer 50€ en plus alors que ce n’était pas de notre faute. Je ne trouve pas cela très commercial surtout que sur le contrat il était noté que nous avions une autorisation de 59 mn de courtoisie. De plus elle nous a dit que nous n’avions pas pris l’assurance SCDW alors que nous l’avion pris avec Carjet et nous avons donc repayer 105€. Je ne suis pas du tout satisfaite de vos prestations.
