They don’t want to know about any financial difficulty, they want there money in advance and all up front. If not paid, they will come for you. Poor processes and the company is in an immature state. They have no Audited Service charge accounts and just increased service charge blindly, nothing to show details of how it is calculated but it's gone up by £1300. B2B please do not use, B2C dont pay

"Dreadful company, avoid"
Dreadful company with awful communications. Regularly have emails and phones calls not responded to or even acknowledged, many other residents in my building have the same issue. Basic maintenance requests take months to sort out, some longer. Online portal is awful, no way to see what issues/faults have been raised which makes things very inefficient.
It shouldn’t be hard to have a basic level of customer service and an online portal that is fit for purpose, but apparently it is!

Still waiting for your next generation portal which you said would be out "soon" nearly a year ago.
I would still rate your company 1 star - nothing has changed. You never respond to emails regarding maintenance requests within 2-3 days as per your auto response. I now have 14 outstanding requests with some going back over 2 years. You don't provide any references from your end, so requests and reports go missing/regularly forgotten about.

If only zero stars was an option.
It tells me all I need to know about Encore Estate ‘Management’ that instead of addressing my concerns about the documented poor way they conduct their business and manage my property, Encore Estate ‘Management’ has spent the last two days finding a patsy to write an alleged six star review.
Encore Estate ‘Management’, you have demonstrated that you are more concerned about your review ratings than doing the job I pay you to do. You are not a gawky teenager desperately trying to generate likes on Tik Tok. You are in business. You have clients. Remember this.
My advice to you, Encore Estate ‘Management’ is not to take me for a fool. I have prepared a review of yet one more of your documented failings on my property. It will be published here soon.

"Daniel Cook is a star"
The Building Manager at our estate, Daniel Cook, is an absolute gem. He is always so polite, and so helpful, and even though we have around 200 residents on our estate - he makes an effort to get to know us all, and somehow he manages to keep us all happy and smiling!
If this site would let me, I'd give Dan 6 / 5 stars! :)

Just heard the news Jordan Kirk is leaving!!
I’ve been doing more and more work for Encore over the last couple of years and they are a great company to be involved with. Jordan is one of my main points of contact. She is always super helpful, always happy, with a good sense of humour and quick to respond to my emails and calls.
She will definitely be missed!!

My building Manager Mohammed Rahman is such a helpful guy. Always quick to respond to my queries. He was a huge help when I had water coming in to my flat many years ago and always goes out of his way to make the property a nice place to live in. He has just adjusted one of the doors in the building for me so it doesn’t slam and shake my flat.

"Non-existent legal team / staff"
The Encore legal team have been contacted multiple times, there is no direct line or specific email, this is regarding a transaction on a development they have recently taken over in Uxbridge (Lawrence Grove). The team are unable to answer basic questions, and unable to provide accurate timelines. This has resulted in the delay of a transaction being processed, it has already been over 3 weeks chasing up on a single query.
For such a basic request it would be expected Encore hire sufficient staff (or even 1 person), the knock on effect of this will cost us thousands of pounds which I'm sure is little to no concern for Encore. Very disappointed.

There appears to be some action from the Encore team, however, basic information such as the annual management fee is still outstanding, you would expect this to be agreed within days of a take over, not outstanding 2 months in (as of now, though I imagine they'll take much longer). Unsatisfied with the limited action taken by the encore.

I am very sorry to hear that Jordan is leaving.
I am a Contractor who requires regular contact with the office, i know that if i speak or email Jordan, it gets done and i receive the help i need.
During lock down, when people were working from home, Jordan gave me her mobile number as it was difficult to contact through the office.
I find Jordan a delightful member of your staff who is always happy to help and goes over and above what is expected of her.
Things are getting easier now to contact the office, but i will miss her support and enthusium.

Very reliable estate management. Our estate manager - Steve, was quick in provide guidance and sort issues in the building.
Encore is very transparent with the costs/ budget and sets up the goals for future repairs.

Recently we had a new site manager called Juhi Miah.After quite a number of years of useless site managers,some of whom never even visited our property,she has tried to restore some sense to the maintenance of the building,after years of neglect by JMestates.She is doing a very good job and we have now had some work done which we have waited 17 years for.
