"Said they had the product"
Said they had the product, ordered it, got a similar but not same product, called, was told they ran out of the product that I ordered. Why sell it then?

"I've had two amazingly helpful…"
I've had two amazingly helpful experiences at Erik's Bikes in Deerfield with Bruce as my salesman. Bruce helped me pick out my first new bike (in decades) during the April 2020 bike rush during the pandemic. He was super knowledgeable and helped me pick the ideal bike for me and my needs. I absolutely love my new bike and am blown away at how well it rides. In the fall with cold weather during the pandemic, I went there to buy my first indoor bike "trainer" set. Bruce was incredibly knowledgeable and again helped me select the right trainer set for me and my needs. Ken even carried the trainer set out to my car for me in the cold. I would recommend Erik's Bikes in Deerfield to anyone - I'm very grateful for their expert guidance in shopping for new items, especially because I have familiarity in what I would exactly want or need until Bruce could help guide me to the right products for me!

"I highly recommend this bike shop for bike purchases and for help by Cash, their knowledgeable bike repairman"
I highly recommend this bike shop for purchases and repairs. We purchased great bikes there and the repairs are unrivaled. I went in to see Cash, the repairman and he repaired a bike pulley that I thought was a total loss. Cash was so kind, knowledgeable, and professional that I decided I will always visit that shop for my biking needs.

"Late, poorly packaged, revived broken, no communication"
I ordered a bike trailer that showed up a week late in a huge box that did not protect it well. In fact, the trailer was so damaged it could not be assembled. I sent an email to their support account the day I received the trailer outlining the issues with the trailer and the order (including pictures). No response. Only after filing a complaint with my bank did someone at Erik's contact me (5 business days later). They said they were going to hand me off to another business that had a trailer to replace my damaged trailer. I said no thanks and shipped the damaged trailer back. I'm still waiting for my refund. Erik's Bike is wasted my time and money. I would never do business with Erik's again. I would never recommend them to anyone.

"I ordered specific fenders for my bike…"
I ordered specific fenders for my bike from Erik's. They came timely enough, however I didn't get any instructions. Just a bag of hardware that made no sense at all. I call customer service and it was anything but. I had my tires off and ready to install on my only day off and the person on the line couldn't help me. He couldn't email me instructions. I spent 20 minutes on my phone in the garage trying to find something from a video to printed materials and nothing came up. I finally decided to go in to my office and use a computer for a search. THE MANUFACTURER of my fenders had printed materials right on their website. 5 hours later and I still don't have anything from the "Customer service" center. Really? Isn't this your job? I didn't order these for display, I needed them installed on my bike. It shouldn't have been so frustrating.

"Horrible customer service"
I ordered a set of cranks from them. They shipped them a week later. They sent me a used set and when I told them they said that they were already marked down a lot and they’d give me $20 back because they were used. I said for that small of a discount I’d prefer to get the new set. They said I’d have to send these back before they’d even place the order for the new ones. It’d be at least a month before I’d end up with what I ordered. I have no idea if they’re a good store in person or not, but for mail order, not so good. I’d avoid.

"Stopped in at Eric’s bike shop in Maple…"
Stopped in at Eric’s bike shop in Maple Grove today. I had a Trump mask on. The manager looked at me with discuss. The kid that he sent to help me, has rude and was very short with me. If there wasn’t a shortage of bikes I would have walked out. I also paid with cash and that pissed the manager off. I bought the bike and then they told me I could come back at the end of the day to pick up. I have bought 6-8 bikes in the last 5years with them, spending over $7000 and another $1000 today. In the past it took them 15-30 minutes to prep the new bike and get you on the way. I’m done with Eric’s

"Eric’s Coon Rapids-Terrible service and knowledge"
My wife and I were planning to buy Electic assisted bikes today. We went to many different retailers and evaluated options. I was so disappointed with Eric’s in Coon Rapids, all the advertising in the world can not out-weight being treated like crap by a salesperson who did not know their Products. Saturday 8/8, 2:00, young man who was abrasive and rude. Let it be known we did purchase 2 bikes for $6K at Ramsey Cycle, where they were friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with! Steer clear of Eric’s, seems like they spend their money on advertising not quality, knowledgeable employees and customer service.
