"Awful customer support"
One of the worst customer support experiences ever. Time sensitive issue due to fraudulent charges on my son's debit card. Transferred about 4 different times, each time having to explain the situation and give my information. No warm transfers to another department? Why make the customer/user have to jump through this many hoops to get assistance. Even still after all this, they were still no help at all. They need a new support model.

Asked, through online chat, to cancel paper statements mailed to me and activate estatements. A kind employee, Karen, said I was to do this myself online, but all I do is go in circles. I have always had estatements, but I need to cancel the paper ones and there is no link to do this. Frustrating because I must drive to the nearest office to do this in person. With computers these days, this function should be a single click, right?

"HORRIBLE interview process!!!"
Was given a chance to interview with this company for a remote customer service job, only to be met with a panel of people that absolutely grilled me for an HOUR AND A HALF. Every answer I gave was not good enough as it seems they wanted to dive extremely deep into the who, what, when, where, and why I gave that answer.
I felt like I was at a therapy appointment! I was surprised they also didn't ask about my parents and what kind of trauma I may have suffered growing up in order to become the person that I am today who would make these kinds of decisions in the workplace.
Absolutely degrading and judgmental for an entry level $17 an hour job. It was unreal. I left the interview feeling like a failure as person. I've never experienced anything like that.
Of course, they ended up not offering me the job because I didn't meet their unreachable standards of a measly customer service person. I probably dodged a bullet anyway. Can you imagine what it would be like to work for these kinds of people day in and day out?

"Problems with my dashboard experience"
Problems with my dashboard experience. This is just one in a long line of problems with Altra and it WILL be the last. People don't like it when you change their dashboard especially when they aren't notified of it. Maybe you can use your Altra Gives Back Day to further fix these problems and quit pissing off your customers. I wish I could give them a lower rating than one star but that doesn't seem possible also.

I wanted to take the time for management to recognize Kristlyne Vasquez for assisting me. I have been in person paying on a truck pymt for 2 years due to avoiding the fee that is charged online. I have asked about this when in the bank on how to avoid the fee I was never provided a clear answer. Kristyne took the time to help me set up my account online registering me and we made the payment. She is awesome and very professional. Altra credit union has been great to work with. I got my first car loan with them over a year ago and just recently got a home equity loan with them. They are great to work with and know how to help make your life easier when it comes to consolidating your debt. Highly recommend them

If I get one more life insurance request from Altra I will change banks. I do not go to the insurance agency for banking and the bank should not be selling life insurance. I am receiving one to two per week. STOP.
