"Worst customer service ever!"
My son purchased a freezer online, he works on a dairy farm in the South Island and couldn't get into the shop. He paid upfront for the freezer and a rural delivery. Has now discovered the item is out of stock, via email. No indication of when he could expect to receve it, no option of a refund. Trade Depot phone system cuts off if Noone answers, messages the the website form are still not responded to. The chat bot says its connecting you to an agent, 3 hours later nothings happened. We are both trying to contact. This is nothing more than Robbery.

where to start.. sitting at home for the 5th day expecting delivery promised today.. same as all other days.. and this is the replacement for the poor quality bath that took 3 arrangements to deliver.. please learn from my mistakes.. just don't buy anything you can't carry out with you..

"Never again, no service whatsoever"
Never again, spent over $800 on 4 items 2 Sundays ago and opted for free delivery i was sent a message on Monday that delivery was next day if i didnt work in with them my delivery could be delayed by several days, I messaged to ask an estimated time of delivery but they ignored me, he came at 4pm and dropped off THE TOP OF MY BATHROOM VANITY and a plug, he had no idea where the other 2 items were, Thursday before Easter (2days after) I got a message delivery was Saturday, you get a message they are entering your street, by the time I got to the door he had gone, he had dumped my vanity bottom in front of my car on its end, my drives steeps a bit, i messaged TD and said im 150cm and 67 yrs old tell him to come and put it in my garage, she said no he was delivering other items, i was still missing my tap mixer and shower mixer, i rang 3 times but no one answers, tells you to ring back in an hour, i went on chat and first time said they would answer within 55 mins, i tried again later and they said they would answer under 2 hours, so i messaged and asked where my other stuff was and was told it had been delivered on Easter Sat with the vanity, i said no it hadnt and as my husband needed the shower mixer that wkend I had to go to mitre 10 and buy the items again, then yesterday we had to drive all the way back to ask for a refund, luckily Les, who had served us was on the register, he said Do u know why you havent received it I said yes it said it was out of stock on the 1st message i got, he sorted it out with someone and told me to go back to the other register for a refund, the girl on there then had to leave to get the machine that does refunds, cant they afford one for each register, 3 times it declined, never heard of it declining when its suppose to be giving a refund, 4th time it worked, no customer service what so ever, can’t even talk to a human so had to drive back to TD get it sorted, my husband said they should have given me a voucher for all the trouble

I've been lied to and mislead
Especially by Bob in Auckland
And his supervisor who refused to speak with me

We were served by Sachin Vohra who we now call a friend. He was so helpful and patient when it came to buying a lot of products for our kitchen and bathroom. He made the experience easy and stress free. He knew all the products really well and even gave us tips on how to install things like the correct sink and other helpful ideas too. Highly recommend going to the trade depot in Christchurch now because of this great experience with Sachin.

"We are not a priority"
We purchased a dryer for our business May 2022. February 2023 it stopped working, being under warranty we thought this would be resolved quickly.
It is now April, it is not. We are spending hundreds of dollars on laundry costs with an external Laundry service and still the issue has not been resolved.
I am very disappointed with the service and frustrated we are not a high priority for your business. We would never treat our customers in this manner.

We have bought many appliances from trade depot. Oven, heatpumps, heatpump drier and most recently an upright freezer. The Hamilton staff are awesome. Dealt with Les from Hamilton and he was quick and efficient and helped me get my order sorted asap. Bloody awesome guys.

"I ordered a Midea Fridge last year and…"
I ordered a Midea Fridge last year and was told to wait as there is a backlog of orders and so I waited more than 3 months and couldnt wait any longer so they gave me an Iceland 213L fridge freezer, when I received it two days later ice started building up and the drawers could not open as the ice was so strong we couldnt even open the freezer doors. I emailed Trade Depot about the issue, they sent a Technician who said the temperature wasnt working properly, he ordered the part and it was the wrong part, here we waited again, the part turned up. Technician came back to install the new part, although the ice was less thicken than it was before but ice was still building up and we still had issues with freezer not being frost free. Another technician came along and decided that the fridge freezer needs to be replaced. Its been 3-4 weeks and Im still trying to sort this out. I would much rather have my money back than buy another fridge from Trade Depot. Its sooo hard to get hold of anyone, you can multiple people dealing with your one case.
