"Hyundai 173cc Self Propelled…"

I bought a Hyundai 173cc Self Propelled Petrol Wheeled Field Grass Trimmer Heavy Duty 60cm Cutting Width | HYFT60SP.

I have only used two tanks of fuel in less than 12 months cutting back grass only.
The machine has gone into self destruct mode with vibration, the main chassis has cracked and is now unsafe to use.

Despite sending photos, emails, filling in online forms and telephone calls. I am still waiting for a resolution.

It has been over a week since I last contacted Genpower Ltd, even though I was told that I would be contacted back straight away.

"Incomplete order."

A very impressive set of achievements is shown on their website. Which makes wonder why my missing battery problem is proving so difficult for them to resolve. I am part of a charity and we recently decided to start switching to battery powered hand held tools. The Hyundia 18v range met our requirements. As I purchase extensively, both privately and for the charity, through Amazon that is the way I proceeded. It turned out that the Reciprocating saw and two batteries were ordered through this company. A delivery was recieved on the 21st (ahead of time). Unfortunatly there was only one battery instead of the two ordered. I immediatly contacted the company to report the missing item. The only feedback I got was that it is being 'escalated'. The delivery was two packets marked 1 of 2 (saw) and 2 of 2 (single battery). All I have asked is for my missing battery to be sent. They now want me to return the battery I recieved and will issue a full refund for BOTH batteries. A complete waste of time. I just want the missing battery that I have paid for. I have now passed the problem on to Amazon - hopefully they can resolve it.
Following the intervention from the 'Complaints Team', the issue was quicky and efficiently resolved.

"Broken strimmer for repair"

What was going to be a disastrous experience with regard to my broken Hyundai Strimmer turned out to be very positive on account of your very efficient and sensible employee, Poonam Shanto who actually listened to me and applied common sense to a situation which would have left me frustrated and out of pocket.

"Great After-Sales Service on Hyundai Product"

The Hyundai 1700w Pressure Washer I bought from Amazon failed to switch on just one year after purchase and just a few weeks after last using it.
It came with a generous 3 yr Warranty (no need to register, just proof of purchase)
So i emailed the Genpower Group Customer Services with a copy of my Amazon order and after a few cursory questions, they offered a replacement without needing it returned
When I queried a delay in confirming dispatch, they apologised that this model was currently Out of Stock in their warehouse.
So I asked them for a refund instead which they apologised could only be given by Amazon.

I was in the middle of a ‘Chat’ conversation with Amazon who indicated that in the circumstances, they would give me a refund when Genpower rang back, offering me an upgraded (1900w) replacement.
They dispatched it next day with a one day delivery and as you would expect I was delighted with the improved features and xtra power which helped recover the delay in being able to use a pressure washer

So apart from the premature failure of the original 1700w product, I have nothing but thanks and praise for the manner in which both Hyundai (Genpower) and Amazon have handled my disappointment

Hence a 5 Star review to both of them

"Leaf Blower Issue "

i Had a problem with my leaf blower ,which when i reported it , the issue was delt with professionally and quickly with no hidden problems and very pleased with the customer service i received having delt with Poonam Shanto ( Gen Power ) through out the whole procedure , he was very professional in every instance

"Horrendous after sales "

I bought a hyundai compress for my business and after 3 months it started giving me problems. Genpower sent the wrong parts on 2 occasions and then barely even replied to emails with any help.

Their only solution is to send the compressor back to save them paying for a technician to repair on site, which will in turn have a great negative impact on my business.

Horrendous service for the past 9 months

Poonam Shanto dealt with my request for replacement of a faulty part very quickly. Of course the chainsaw in question should not have been shipped with a blade cover that would not fit in the first place, but that was not her fault.
