"Hyundai Cordless Lawn Mower"
Myself and my husband ordered a lawn mower (model number: HYM3800E) in September 2023, we used it once to cut the grass and the second time we attempted to use it, the machine would start for a couple of seconds, then literally stop working. We contacted Hyundai Power Products/Genpower by phone, where the first thing they say is that "they proud themselves in high quality products". The lawn mower is obviously still within warranty but they advised my husband that we need to pack it up and be collected by them, so they can look into it but refuse to give a refund. I would say to anyone to not buy a machine from Hyundai Power products, they will give you 30 days to "check the machine" if you order lets say in December or January or during a wet period when it is raining and you cant actually "properly check the machine" and by that I mean cut the grass cuz you cant cut the grass when the grass is wet. DO NOT BUY ANY MACHINES FROM HYUNDAI POWER PRODUCTS. You will spend a fortune, have a very small window of 14-30 days to check the machine, if lets say you buy but dont use it at all until 3-6 months later which was our case, then you manage to cut the grass once, then the machine dies, you will have to send the machine back to be assessed for months, all while you will need to rent one which defeats the purpose. Be aware, their products are not high quality at all, they are selling poorly made products that work once, take months to fix without a refund being an option. Also please be aware that the reviews on their website are only 5 stars and that you cannot actually post a one star review on the product you bought, as it gives you an error message if you attempt to post a one star review on their website under the product you bought. Never trust a company that does not allow you to post one star reviews and does not respond to customers who leave a one star review but responds to customers who leave 5 star reviews. Customer service is about how you deal with customers that are unhappy with their purchase and been sold a scam/faulty product.

Customer services are polite
But I have been sent 3 items 2 of which were damaged 1 which was faulty
For the first 2 times they made me send back the heavy items by taking it to a collection point- very inconvenient...3rd time they arranged collection but went to the incorrect address twice even though I had told them my updated address. Even though they are now arranging collection they make you print out the labels another inconvenience I do not have a printer at home and then they send the label to print a day before collection. Really really unhappy I have asked several times to speak to a manager but not been able to...would never purchase from them again

"First class after sales service"
Poonam Shanto dealt fantastically with the issue I had. TNT delivered to the wrong address and couldn't tell me where. Poonam was totally focused on ensuring I was looked after, sending a replacement order to me immediately. This was first class service. It is a pity that TNT let Genpower down.

Strimmer was delivered a month ago and failed to work correctly as the throttle had to be squeezed at an exact pressure to provide correct fuel to get any power out of the unit. Over the last 4 weeks I have been waiting for a replacement/ old unit to be collected. Courier does not arrive and poor assistance from Gen Power. Save yourself some pain and buy direct from a shop
Update 18th May
It took over a week to get a replacement strimmer, due to Gen power forgetting to book the courier, the courier not turning up and the replacement machine getting lost enroute.
Machine No.2 arrived and tested, same issues. It starts fine, ticks over great, but throttle control is useless and the engine stalls out.
I contacted Gen power for a refund as it's been over a month of messing around, they advised I need to go via Amazon. Tried this but Amazon states I have missed the return date and contact the seller. Hopefully Gen power own a cheque book and can pay me directly.
UPDATE 11-6-24
After no contact from Genpower for over a week I called them for an update, I spoke to a helpfull chap that explained that following factory testing the fuel can clog up in the carb and that if I run the machine on tick over for 1/2 an hour and rev every 5 to 10 mins it should clear. I tried this and actually used 3 tanks of fuel, the engine performamce did improve slightly, but full revs (which is needed for strimming) can only be achieved by having the throttle in exactly the correct position, which is difficult when swinging a strimmer around. So contacted Genpower for a refund of another exchange. I was advised they are out of stock so cant exchange and cant refund as they are hiding behind Amazon.

My electric chainsaw would not work correctly so I got in touch as it is under warranty. I am really impressed with how the matter was handled by Sanjana who first responded and arranged collection of the saw. I have now been advised it is being fixed and will be sent back to me.

"One of my Samsung batteries failed."
One of my Samsung batteries failed to charge after only 2 usages. Contacted the support team and Solomon responded within an hour, requesting the relevant details (serial number etc). He then apologised that they had no replacement ones in stock but that one would be dispatched when they arrived (expected in June). Within days, he then updated the ticket to say a new one had been dispatched and was I able to safely dispose of the faulty unit. Excellent communication throughout.
