I purchased a brand-new Hyundai 196CC self-propelled petrol mower. The day it arrived I assembled it filled it with oil and petrol and it took 35 pumps on the petrol button for it to start. I assumed it was just because it was brand-new. I ran the mower for an hour and it was great then stopped. It popped inside to get a drink came back out and it took another 15 pumps on the fuel button to started again which seemed very strange so I reached out to Hyundai who were basically going to replace the machine but instead of doing that, I was sent out another petrol button to replace myself which apparently would not affect the warranty. I wasn’t thrilled at being asked to replace it myself, but I did that and the mower still would not start and has not started since the first day I bought it Which was in August so I have been complaining since the 2nd of August and still have this faulty mower and then my Gardner has a look at it a couple of days ago and the blade dropped off.
It would suggest that this mower has clearly been used before but why I have had to have this battle by email I just don’t know. I paid £400 for this mower and it should’ve been replaced straight away without quibble as it was faulty and as I have said I’ve continually reported it as faulty. I am now told that I need to dismantle it drain it package it in a box for a carrier to pick up not oh we are terribly sorry that the mower has been faulty from day one. Let us replace it with a new one, but once again, I’m having to go out of my way to dismantle the mower and have it picked up by a courier.
I explained that I didn’t have a box for it to be put in and I was told that that was basically my problem so I’ve had to buy a box to package it in but I want to understand why on earth I am just not having a new one sent out and the faulty one picked up??!! Better still just get my money back But it frustrates me because when it did work, which was only the ones it was brilliant.

Poonam was very kind and helpful in dealing with the issue of getting a replacement lawnmower sent out for my mother. She then followed up after it was delivered to check everything was ok with the delivery and the item. 5* customer service. Thank you Poonam!

Purchased Hyundai HY5508 air compressor. Previous YouTube reports of items such as contents damage, mains lead too short, etc. NO damage on arrival with the other comments addressed. Smallest machine in the Hyundai range hence the limited output. Works as specified for me and is very much quieter than my previous compressor. I do object to the claim of Super Silent. Very optimistic marketing BS.

I made contact to discuss my needs and received sound advice and so I ordered the item - a plate compactor. It arrived within a day or two and was well packaged. After unboxing and following the instructions it was assembled (easy job) and started first time. Have used it to prepare a pathway and it really does the job. I bought it to avoid the hire and rush pattern I have with my home jobs and as of now it is perfect for what i need.
