"Exceptional Products and Customer Service"

I recently purchased several items for my kitchen from Buster + Punch, including brass knobs. While the initial knobs didn’t quite meet the standard I had hoped for, their customer service turned this around completely.

Melanie Dobbs from their team provided what can only be described as outstanding support. She not only kept me informed throughout the replacement process with regular updates via email and phone, but also personally ensured the new items met their high-quality standards.

The new knobs are perfect, but what really sets Buster + Punch apart is their dedication to customer satisfaction. It's rare to find such a combination of top-notch products and service.

"Misleading color and undisclosed shipping costs"

I bought this bronze switch as a tester before placing a larger order and boy am I glad I didn't buy more.

I was looking at this particular switch because of the bronzey-brown color and warm undertones that are shown in the product pictures... Well, the product arrived and it is essentially black, with no such warm undertones.

On top of this, this company feels pretty untrustworthy.

The checkout page shows a "Total" like you'd expect, except the supposed total isn't the amount you get charged. There is a separate line item for shipping, listed above the Total, so it's natural that you'd assume this amount is included in the total. I came to find out it was not included in the so-called total, and my card was charged $30 more for this single, not-what-I-expected switch.

Support told me I could return the product but they wouldn't refund the shipping charges because of "policy" and somehow it was my fault for not verifying their math on the checkout page? Pretty intentionally misleading if you ask me.

Won't be buying from them again, would recommend you don't either.

"Excellent look, terrible quality"

These look excellent, and the quality of the knobs and toggle hardware is quite nice. However, the internal electrical equipment is pretty low end - significantly below Lutron/leviton, etc…. Worse there are three big reoccurring issues:

* Broken off toggles: I installed about 20 of these so far, three weeks in and we’ve had **5** toggles break off, requiring replacement of the full electrical complements
* Panel fit: I saw another review with the same concern. There is very little overlap of the electrical box, and very little depth in the cover - nearly all “old work” boxes (installed after the home was built) will not be covered leading to visible plastic showing. In some cases after installing it’s clearly bowed with the middle bumping out. I have some outlets in my kitchen tile that were cut a bit too big, never an issue for any other outlet cover - but these end up with 1/8ish” gap. on the sides. What should take 15 minutes per outlet to do, end up with :30 to :60 using caulking or wall putty to attempt close some of the gaps. Just a small increase in height, width and depth would fix 90% of these issues.
* Lack off options: No four way switch, no “blank” panels to cover existing things, etc… This compounds with the above if you use a non B&P device (four way switch, fan control, etc….) the fit issues can be worse.

"Customer service is not there for the customers "

Made an order and within half an hour I realised I needed to add one more item so emailed immediately to request to add the additional item. I received a response the following day saying that it is not possible to add to the order as the orders go straight to the warehouse, I requested that customer service contact the warehouse to add my additional item seeing as my order had still not been processed. I was told this was not possible. A typical “computer says no” attitude. On that basis I refused my order when it arrived and now waiting for my return. I made another order with a different company who had brilliant customer service and seemingly appreciated my money and custom!

"Very nice products"

Very nice, high quality products and fast delivery.
Only problem was the forwarder, FedEx informed they would deliver friday between 8 and 14, I stayed at the house, but they never arrived. Only late monday, no explaining or apology or anything. However, that is not B&P’s fault, but maybe they should choose another forwarder.
