Purchased an WD External Hard Drive from Costco, to store over 20 years worth of photos and videos of my family as well as some business files.... Some of those were backed up on a cloud base, but the last 2 years have been crazy and therefore I didn't get around to the backups.....While on vacation my hard drive failed....After watching hours of YouTube videos and purchasing items to help restore the drive, I was unsuccessful. Although SDR is expensive, it is just like having a surgery with intricate work being done on my device, I figured it was worth the investment... I've been in IT for 20+ years and am often asked to recover people's data. When my own drive died, and I could do nothing about it, I reached out to Secure Data Recovery. I worked with Chris McMacken to get the data back and hopefully not cost me my years' salary. To my joy, it was not as bad as I initially anticipated.

We had a corrupted media card while filming an interview. We were able to view the files on the camera but were not able to download on to a computer or drive. Chris from Secure Data Recovery took care of the process of recovering our media footage from beginning to end. He was very helpful and efficient.
