"Faulty Goods"

Ordered an Xbox one when it arrived the power lead had the earth pin snapped off and wasnt even in the box, meaning that it could not of been checked before it was packed. After emailing them and sending a picture i will say they were very quick to send a replacenment so thats positive the rest however is not. When i switched on the xbox the screen kept on flickering on and off i thought this may be the HDMI cable so changed that but it did not make any difference the xbox was not working properly. I sent the item back requesting a full refund, got conformation yesterday that there team was looking at the returned item and will be in contact. The contact was another email to say that my package has been dispatched? I have since replied explaining for the second time that i want a refund not another xbox and am waiting for a reply. Tried to call but the Phone lines are closed for maintenance (very convienient!)
*Update*
I have received my refund and the xbox is no longer being sent back to me, some faith restored in there customer service at least. i would suggest an internal investigation on how the item was sent out faulty to ensure this doesnt happen again.

Excellent company to deal with. I have dealt with them twice now and each time found them to be reliable and honest with their descriptions of the products.

"Product was not in "pristine" condition as claimed"

Product description on my purchased xbox controller said the condition was "pristine", claiming to have been refurbished, cleaned and tested. However, the product I received has very clearly and extensively worn rubber on the thumbsticks with very little texture remaining. The left thumbstick has minor but evident "drift" which a quick online test proved. Other than that the controller is okay, but it's far from a pristine condition product, which is a huge let down for the price.
