"Very Honest Review"

This is my most honest and detailed review of Wicked Brick.

I purchased the Lego At-At Display (Priced at £185 - not the cheapest)

They have a ‘6-10 week’ shipping period (the time it takes just for the order to ship out. I accept this wait as I work for a company with relatively a similar size, so I understand the production struggles if there are any.

However, after requesting an update on my order they stated it may be a few days late to ship. Again, no issue, it’s alright. However my order shipped 2 weeks late. Now I’m not an angry customer as I work in Customer Service myself, so I got in touch to see if I could get a discount, the natural thing we would do for our customers is give a small discount or a refund on shipping fee. But nothing, so I was fairly disappointed that they did not give what was promised and I had to pay the price. I attempted to follow up 3 times with the company but their Customer Service advisor, Karen, didn’t seem to enthusiastic about getting back in touch, so my emails were ignored.

Overall the Customer Service was relatively poor, they did provide an update on my order which I’m super grateful for but gave the same canned (auto) response and ignored my follow up emails regarding some sort of compensation for their failed deadlines. Just as a suggestion, please update your shipping times.

The product itself is fantastic, it looks cool and is very protective. Has a lovely vinyl sticker to truly capture some movie magic. It’s much better than some of their smaller Lego displays I purchased previously as the stud parts seem to be a bit wonky and not too straight.

Overall here’s my personal rating based off my experience.

"very long delivery time"

After 3 months stil nothing . They will probably give the standard reply to this review to send them an email . Maybe they should put more effort in producing . Think carefully before ordering at this company . It may take very long before you receive your order ( i still am in the presumption that they will deliver and this not a fraught)

"12 weeks nearly and not even shipped"

I ordered my batman case beginning of July 2022 and over 11 weeks later (26/9/22) I'm still waiting for it to even be shipped. Its disgusting.

this company thinks that customers will continue to give them credits over several months...
they did not understand how a business works and wicked brick will go to ruin.
if you need banking I think you should stop using your customers credit cards.

I was so impressed with my Lego display unit. It was actually a lot better than I anticipated and looks excellent on top of my unit. I would highly recommend this company and I will certainly be using them again in the very near future.

"11 weeks and waiting….Avoid this company!"

This company is ridiculous, they seem to think its fine to sell a product and take your money and keep you waiting for months on end believing this is ok. If they are that busy employ more people or just stop taking orders. I’ve waited 11 weeks and still no sign of the display case. Emails with customer care are a complete waste of time and they offer no help or resolution. Avoid these like the plague and find a reputable supplier.

"Long lead times, but excellent products."

Let's address the elephant in the room: Yes, they have long lead times. I've made a few orders from them, and it's been 2 months between order and receiving the shipment each time. HOWEVER, they state this openly on their website, so it is to be expected. Shipping to the USA is also expensive, but that's typical right now and there's not much they can do on that front.

The products, however, are top notch. I have some display cases and some stands, and they all fit together nicely and look fantastic. The vinyl stickers for the backgrounds are high quality and really enhance the whole product and make the Lego set look even cooler.

I had one issue with one display case; The cool little nameplate with the set description and information was all messed up with tape residue as the shipping department put the tape directly on the part instead of wrapping the part first. Wicked Brick sent me a replacement right away, and it got from the UK to the US in under a week. Great Customer service!

I will definitely be buying more products from these guys!

"I had such a nightmare with this company"

I had such a nightmare with ordering the lego Disney castle case with designed backdrop. It took about 6 months before I received a case that actually pieced together. To begin with they blamed covid for delivery lateness, then they blamed the cutting machine being faulty, then they blamed covid again. It was constant back and forth and they rarely answer the phone so it was mainly email communication. I have side panels all over my garage, if they were actually cut right I would have about 4 cases in total. I was offered no compensation, occasional apology and rarely sympathy. Personally I would never use them again and I advise not to
