"Hedgerow Assessment Training Course"

Dominic was great - an excellent communicator and so knowledgeable. Despite the training consisting of an offline video, the presentation was engaging and interesting, and I feel like I have learnt a great deal. Following the presentation, Dominic hosted a zoom call for a Q&A in which we got to have a chat and discuss some real life examples of hedgerow surveys. It was great to get his advice and input, and it is clear how enthusiastic Dominic is. Will definitely be signing up to future training courses and would recommend to anyone wanting to improve their botany/survey knowledge!

Great course with regular updates throughout. Clear identification pointers which has increased my confidence to ID ferns.
I personally would prefer a face-to-face field course if one could be considered.

The aquatic plants course was fantastic, I learned a great deal and the tutor, Sharon, was clearly very knowledgeable about aquatic plants and botany in general. Where I already knew the plant in flower, I now know the vegetative features to look for as well. The location was well chosen and the course suitable for all levels of expertise.

I attended Grassland Plant Identification and Survey 2023. Leif was a fantastic tutor. He shared great tips and tricks and passed around a lot of information in bite size chunks. This is a great beginner course and in a great loation.

I wasn't really looking forward to 5+ hours of online training, but Dom's delivery and sense of humour made it fly by. It was really engaging and I felt like I learned a lot. Being able to see two similar species compared side by side was also really helpful.
