I made the booking on the Insipring Vacations website. The range of tours is extensive and I easily found the one which suited my trip to the USA. It's a fairly straightforward process to book and all the information about the tour is readily available. A customer service rep made a courtesy call after my booking was completed. I am looking forward to the tour which is later in 2025.

Inspiring Vacations not having an office with a person you can meet face to face makes the booking experience a little nerve racking for first timers. I understand that that is how you keep your costs down however. The persons answering the phones were very helpful.

"Our guide was ineffective and Inspiring Vacations response poor"
My wife and I finished a 10 day Inspiring Vacations tour of Sri Lanka on 18 February 2025 with an all Australian group who were all great company. The tour generally was excellent in terms of itinerary and accommodation with relatively few issues. The major issue was the guide was very hard to understand, failed to provide basic organisational information about where to go and when to regroup, even after 10 days did not know any of our names, and showed little rapport with the group. Our complaints to IV were initially fobbed off with platitudes. This seriously impacted the pleasure and value of the tour.
After day four we started to get traction with a representative of their customer success team but the enquiries they made with other group members were ineffective and they offered no real solutions despite our direct request for a replacement guide. Our questions on their vetting procedures for their guides remain unanswered. We know complaints were made by other members of our party so were we not alone in our assessment

We are very dissatisfied with our trip with Inspiring Vacations and will never book again with this company.
Online booking went well but any communication prior to the trip was difficult with phone operators that were clearly off shore and unable to immediately assist with queries.
The main issue began on day one of our tour when our group of 12 were unable to understand our guide. We were all consulting on what was being said. There was no welcome or briefing.
I immediately contacted the support email clearly explaining the issue. The response was an AI generated platitude. I also sent a WhatsApp to the local number we were given (no reply for 3days)
Along with this I sent negative feedback about our 2 days at Pegasus Reef hotel that was barely 3 star accommodation and was well below expectations.
Our experience was hugely impacted by the poor standard of the guide. Not only could we not understand him but he showed no direction at various sites regarding timing and meeting points. This meant we often had delays and less time at other sites and were unprepared for excursions for example no mention of hats required in an open air vehicle.
Inspiring Vacation's 'customer success specialist' had the opportunity to intervene but did nothing but offer meaningless platitudes. She failed to meaningfully consult with other group members.
Fortunately we had a lovely group of fellow travellers who all helped figure out what was going on.
We feel we missed out on the experience of being in Sri Lanka, one couple saying they found out more afterwards on a 2 hr guided tuktuk tour.

The website was pretty good but the quick access to a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful human on the end of the phone, that'd be Angelo, was most reassuring. He followed up with any queries we had and kept in touch to see how we were going with no pressure.

Seamless check in, a well positioned site ( quite close to our friends) and very clean amenities.
Sadly the oven in the camp kitchen was extremely dirty and smelly so we were unable to use it.
