My boyfriends gas has not worked for roughly 2 months now, we have both separately rang up Aster countless times to arrange someone to come and repair it, it has repeatedly been pushed back by Aster. An emergency repair was scheduled today by my boyfriend, who is currently at work expecting this to be fixed so he can, after 2 months, have a hot shower in his own home, not too much to ask wouldn’t you say? I was here when Aster turned up, in pretty high spirits thinking this will be resolved and my boyfriend can come home to a warm flat to relax in (basic human necessities I think we can all agree). Upon arrival the man quickly points out we are due a gas service check, & that the gas meter is capped (things Aster have already been made aware of) & therefore ‘he doesn’t have time’ to resolve both of these things today & has rescheduled once again another repair for Monday. Let me get this straight, you don’t have time to carry out a job that you’re being paid to carry out? You were called out on behalf of the company to fix this particular issue, you are driving an Aster van, wearing an Aster shirt, representing the company, but ‘don’t have time’ to provide any legitimate service for the company you are ‘working’ for. What are you doing all day then? Turning up on people’s doorsteps to stand there with your Aster badge on and look pretty? If you want to talk about not having enough time…myself and my boyfriend don't have enough time to continuously chase you guys up to fix something you have been made aware of for a long while now, for you to insist on pushing back further. It would be interesting to see how that man would feel if he didn’t have access to a warm shower, the ability to wash his own clothes or dishes in his own home for over 2 months. Not to mention it’s now November, pretty damn cold outside. I don’t expect any worthwhile response from Aster in writing this, just making anyone that is curious aware that these people are just about as useful as a concrete parachute.

"After seven years of rain coming in the…"
After seven years of rain coming in the kitchen and living room of this Aster place and countless botched repair jobs, I have noticed it is all back again.
I am dreading contacting them for yet another botch job, so I have contacted CAB to see what other options there are. I am finally going to claim compensation for seven years of hell!
Bit of a laugh for everyone.
Took four incompetent plumbers to fix a leaking tap. One so called repair left it in such a state, it would not turn!
We all need to get together and start change.

"The worst housing association ever"
The worst housing association ever. They don’t call back they don’t do repairs you have to chase them all the time they don’t sort out mould as many my neighbours have it I still rubbish in my garden which they didn’t clear up before I moved in it was hidden in the corner of the garden! And a down pipe for overflow was shoved in a tube and moving around as they moved water heater into loft and overflow pipe was just put inside the old one and it’s not write size and as I said they don’t return phone calls I have a old wooden back door which is breaking and let’s in rain and wind and not secure at all been waiting 4 months now ! I wish I never moved here.they need sorting out and action taken against them ! Shameful

Useless company loads of problems with my new build house including hole in the living room floor which 2 months on is still there. Cancelled my flooring company as can’t put flooring over it. Aster dragging out repair told could be another month yet. Fence broken had nails poking through. Replaced nails but left the split wood in. Can’t get in loft to sort aerial that doesn’t work because not given key to hatch. Not sure I will ever see that problem sorted in my lifetime as I’m 46 now. Too many other problems to list. You ring and just get told “it’s process”. Plus look at all the replies just copy and paste responses. Mine will be “Hello Jason sorry you are having trouble we can try and resolve this with you. If you can please share any further information with us by going to our website” no point as all of us have already tried contacting you to sort the defects before getting fed up and leaving a review.

some engineers in dorset look like they would come to repair or assess damage to repair with a lot of inseasy..sometimes there is an impression that they are not at all uninsided to listen to tenants and know everything in advance

"Appalling. At my wits end."
Horrendous. Been in my house for over a year now and none of my defects have been looked at. Was told my list was 'closed'!? Passed from pillar to post - most heard phrase: 'they'll be in touch'. Never! Lost all patience now and don't know what to do. Cannot get through to anyone to even attempt to resolve issues. It's like they don't want to know. I'm sure if I stopped paying the rent for a property that is unfinished and unsatisfactory they'd be quick to get on my case but no regard for customer service whatsoever. Appalling.

"Typical money hungry landlord"
Love to jack up service charges while also not providing any real services. They can sometimes remember to mow the grass and replace hallway light bulbs but that's about it. They also really love bombarding people with S20 notices to confuse people when they sneak in new charges, as a lot of what comes in them is not relevant to you expect that ONE that is. Would honestly recommend avoiding any Aster property if you want any value for money.
