We've had nothing but hassle from start to finish with Elmo. My wife and I subscribed to a Renault Zoe (WP70CKK) at the start of December. To begin with the vehicle didn't turn up on the first day. No one from Elmo contacted us. We had to call Elmo numerous times on the day until eventually someone called us back in the evening to say the car wasn't coming until the next day. My wife ended up having to take two days off. Then in February the car was due a service. No one came to collect the car as agreed. Again we had to chase Elmo to find out what was happening. In the end we decided to end the agreement. Now Elmo were supposed to collect the car today. Yet again no one turned up and my wife had to keep calling Elmo to find out what was happening, only to be told at 17:20 that the car wouldn't be collected today. We went with Elmo because we wanted hassle free motoring, but it's been nothing but stress. Paying £119 to have the car collected and no one turning up or telling us what's happening is unacceptable. Now we're stuck with a car we don't want and have to take another day off to have the car collected. I understand that things sometimes go wrong but Elmo's lack of communication or attempts to resolve issues is really poor.

"Poor customer care and service"
We had 2 cars from elmo and had had multiple issues with the cars and customer service. We received 1 car with a broken visor mirror and we're simply asked to 'tape it' as fixing it would mean that we would be without a car despite paying a significant amount to elmo for the vehicle. For another car, we unfortunately had a windscreen chip in early December 2022 and were shocked to find out this was NOT covered in the insurance. It then took Elmo and their partners over 2 months to arrange to fix the windscreen. I was stuck with a car that was bordering on being road worthy and elmo continued to drag their heels in and failed to respond to my multple email and phone calls to fix it. I was left paying for a car during this period that I was afraid to drive because of the issues with the windscreen and elmo continued to ignore me. Elmo didn't seem to care much about it so I quickly decided to end all business with them and use a different provider. Very disappointed and have told others to AVOID THEM.

I would just like to say how amazing the company has been in the first 24hrs since joining them. I was with another company prior to them and they was terrible but Elmo drive have been amazing especially Sohail he has kept me in the know every step off the way so Thankyou. Looking forward to Monday

Absolutely terrible customer service, contradict on charges, delays galore!
First few 5 star reviews are from their own staff members!!! lol
- Car delivery delay - Driver shows up at about 11pm when he was supposed to come by 5pm. + Car swap - Delayed car for over 2 weeks!
- DAMAGED CAR - Elmo gave me a damaged car, charger flap broken, SOS light on, Car doesn't charge above 80% - They expect me to resolve their broken car issues with their nominated garage which is 30miles away from me
- TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - On multiple occasions staff members promise to call back but ALWAYS fail to do so.
- Excess mileage charge - Staff have emailed me to say excess mileage is at 12p per mile. Upon returning the car, they charge at £1~ per mile approx.
Overall, i do NOT recommend Elmo at all!
Absolute scam company with no customer support at all
Currently having to raise this to Financial ombudsman as Elmo are trying to put their customers out of pocket by charging excessive amounts and not sticking to what they initially advise on cost!
I don't have option for 0 stars, i wouldn't even give them 1 star.
Initially, you try to give them the benefit of the doubt but they take advantage of this in multiple ways!

Paua has been an Elmo customer for several years now. As a business we have had a number of different vehicles that we use for business purposes. A Nissan leaf, a Renault Zoe, a Jaguar iPace and our next car will be a Polestar. Each time we get quality service, great data and a friendly team.
