This is not free!!!! Beware! They charge you to download a copy of what you create and in the very, very small print they say you're signing up for a subscription and if you don't cancel in 14 days you will be charged!! I didn't see any of this, and was charged £16.95 on top of the £1.95 to download! When I phoned to complain they said it's in the small print but as a gesture of "goodwill" they will refund just 50%

Like many many others here, to my surprise i was charged £16.95 for a service they advertise as FREE. They DO NOT tell anywhere on their website that you will be charged that amount each month. Please read the reviews. If i had i would’ve never used their service!!!

Like everyone in here. They took £16.95 from my account without warning. I've unsubscribe on website and call them to cancle. But they tell me they can give me back just £8.48. They still want to take £3 for what?? I don't even get a job and struggling with the bills now I have just £2 in my account 😭

Beware-SHOCKING COMPANY do not use.
There is no avenue to cancel the subscription. The phone number or links to ‘ ‘cancel’ on their website don’t work. They ignore emails or send auto response saying they don’t recognise the account even though they recognise it well enough to take the money out of my bank. I have now emailed multiple times over two months and raised a dispute with my bank, Disgusting business practice.
Update: after reading my perfect cv reply below. They want me to share publicly through trust pilot the information about my account that I have already sent to them, repeatedly by email? I have also sent them my phone number to call me to sort this out seeing as the ‘my perfect cv’ phone number on their site does not dial out/is not recognisable. I would prefer the company to contact me directly, using the number I have given them or email me and explain why they have not replied. Except to send stock responses like below. If they are ethically and genuinely trying to sort this out why wouldn’t they contact me? Speaks volumes. Until this changes I am still very dissatisfied. Avoid at all costs.

Last month I paid £2.95 one off for CV. Just found out today that PerfectCV is taking £16.95 from my card in person .This isn't a direct debit or i didnt ageed to been charged every month - but I've been charged anyway. This is not legal.
I did not sign up for a subscription or authorize these payments.

Hopefully after canceling I won't be charged in the future as many other customers complain has happened? Otherwise, I will contact the relevant authorities and seek my legal rights

I also paid £1.95 for a single CV and they have charged me £16.95 2 weeks later for a subscription I didn’t sign up for and not even telling me I was going to be charged. I contacted them straight away and they refunded me half of the price out of courtesy. Surely I should have full refund as I didn’t sign up for this subscription and charge in the first place.

Last March I paid £2.95 for a one-time CV download. I have just found today, to my utter horror that PerfectCV have been regularly taking £16.95 from my debit card. This is not set up as a standing order nor a direct debit - they have been charging my card directly. This cannot be legal.
I have not explicitly signed up for a subscription service at any time and neither have I knowingly authorised these payments.
Perfect CV, I expect you to refund me £254.25 immediately.

I payed £3 for a single CV and they have charged me £16.95 a month later with no warning????? It was not at all clear that i was going to be charged. Ironically, i still dont have a job dispite my "perfect CV" and am struggling to pay my bills. Interesting how a site used to help you find a job is happy to reap your pockets with no warning.
