Update @ 3000 km / 8 months on Nokovulcano: All in all, a great e-bike for the money. I replaced the tires after 1600 km, as I was getting a flat too often, and the rear tire especially was worn. Got the Panaracer Gravelking tires, which are much better in my opinion. Not a single flat yet. I also replaced the chain once, because it was getting worn/rusty, but that's normal I would say. Battery and charger runs as normal it seems - no notable wear there. A letdown of the FSA battery/charger is that it doesn't operate optimally in freezing temperatures (I live in Denmark), and since I don't have the option of charging inside, and because the battery is not removable, there were some days were the battery did not charge at all. This mean I had no assist on the coldest days. Actually the letdown was really that I had to figure this out on my own, and that Noko did not make me aware of this when buying. Afterall, freezing temperatures are pretty common over a big part of Europe. For that reason: 4/5 stars. I really like the product though. Would buy again.

Original: I was on the lookout for an ebike for commuting 14 km, as I'm not a fan of heavy e-bikes regarding occassional lifting (stairs, train, etc). I have never owned an ebike before, so naturally I needed to adjust my expectations for cost compared to a regular bike. My requirements:
- Lightweight
- Usable without electricity
- Cost less than 3000€
- Fun/effortless to ride
I looked at Specialized Turbo Vado 4.0, Tenways CGO600 Pro, Stevens E-strada 8.3.4 and Canyon Grizl:ON, Yamaha Wabash RT but they all lacked in some regard. Then I stumbled across NOKO on instagram. What initially sold me was that this was a european company selling exclusively the type of lightweight bike models I was after. However, I was uncertain if this NOKO company was legit, not knowing the brand beforehand. At the time of buying, they had far better prices than previous mentioned products, with the exception of maybe Tenways CGO600 Pro. I reached out to NOKO with questions about the NOKOVULCANO model, which I was most interested in, Federica from NOKO answered promptly and elaborately, sharing some photos of frame colors not currently on the website. Photos were from some bike convention, so I figured that NOKO must be serious about delivering quality products... and oh boy was I right!
I ordered the NOKOVULCANO for 2000€ (down from 3500€ normal, very good deal imo) and even got the Beeline Velo 2 bike computer included as promotional. Shipped from Italy to Denmark. Took 9 days after completing order. Shipping box is huge (very) high quality sturdy cardboard, bike securely fastened inside. Comes with a 'welcome kit' including grease, tools, pedals, reflectors and nice rechargable front+rear lights. Bike is fully assembled out of the box, only needed to adjust handlebar, mount pedals and seat. The bike runs really really nice, and I'm amazed that I got this kind of quality for 2000€. Also the bike is beautifully subtle; small NOKO stickers here and there, hidden brake/gear cables etc. You can tell that the bike is made from good materials!
Now I'm 100 km in and absolutely loving the bike. With the FSA app, I can check the battery capacity. I commute 14 km mainly straight road with traffic lights in the third/purple mode which drains the bike about 11%. So the claim of 100 km range, is definitely correct if you keep your avg speed around 25 km/h like me. The only 'negative' thing I have to say is that the lowest half of the gearing is not really necessary when you have a motor, as it pushes you up to cruising speed very fast, but if you want to run without motor at some point, then they will become useful.
After a few days, I was really missing a kickstand, so I asked NOKO where I could mount this on the bike. Amazingly, they were happy to hear about my positive experience and decided to send me a complimentary kickstand. Normally I don't write reviews here on Trustpilot, but this gesture was really the cherry on top of a good experience that had to be documented here.
NOKO, if you are listening, please continue to provide all of your customers with this great experience and you will be world-renowned!

"Glücklich über mein Nokotempo"

Ich bin mehr als Glücklich bei Noko bestellt zu haben, das Bike ist fantastisch und mir wieder Lebensfreude zurück gebracht. Ich habe einseitig Laufbehinderung die es mir schwer macht länger Strecken zu laufen oder auch mit einem normalen Fahrrad zu fahren. Auch ein normales E-Bike mit 28 kg wäre für mich nicht zu händeln. Daher bin ich froh mein 16 kg leichtes Noko gefunden zu haben mit dem ich wieder länger Strecken zurücklegen kann und so auch mein Bein wieder trainiert wird. Ich hatte mehrmals Kontakt zum zum freundlichen und konstruktiven Service von
Noko. Ich würde wieder bei Nokobike bestellen, vielleicht brauch ich ja noch eins mit Gangschaltung.

I definitely love the bike !! (Noko Urban)

I wanted a light electric bike that could feel like a normal bike (not feeling that I'm riding a scooter), but that could help me efficiently during hills or some lazy moments. Mission accomplished !

It has all the advantages without (almost) any inconvenients (nothing is perfect) :
- super light
- super agile
- 11 speeds that makes it really versatile
- great transmission : smooth, reliable and efficient
- 5 assistance modes and 1 mode where there is no assistance (green) (I wanted that to have some sporty rides)
- long battery life
- great design
- great shock absorber with the carbon fork
- super smooth and reactive
- super silent even without carbon belt (that I didn't want)

I LOVE IT !!

This bike is for everybody : those who want an hybrid bike with the possibility to ride it without assistance
And those who want a nice bike with a very efficient electric assistance.

You feel that you ride a normal bike (and not some scooter) and when you want it, you can have an efficient electric boost. Or you can always have it according to your preferences.

However, there are some minor cons :
- the handlebar is REALLY large (74cm), even with the smallest size (S), so you need to cut it if you want a more confortable ride (and dynamic one). I would suggest to have a smaller handlebar for the smaller size
- Same for the saddle tube : it's a little bit too long. You can't lower it totally to the bottom. I'm 1m63, and it's ok, but I wouldn't have said no for an extra 1 or 2cm.
- Without the garmin remote (extra) you can only go up with the speed modes and have to go all the way to the top before going back to the first assistance mode, it's not super convenient when you want to lower the assistance.

++++ The customer service is great and reactive. I contacted them several times before buying the bike. Made some changes, etc and they were super accommodating. The bike was also delivered super fast (7days from the confirmation)

We wanted to order a nokovulcano in Organe. Unfortunately it was sold out. The service team directly got in touch with us and informed us about available option. Finally we ordered a super nice blue, which turned to be out a brand-new, unique limited-edition painting. Amazing colour. Would recommend Noko to add it to their colour options :)

"Quality product and great support"

We got two Noko Urban bikes just over a year ago. They have been really well built, sturdy and have been great to ride.
The electric assist has preformed well, there is some resistance when the motor is not engaged. While I have not measured the distance, battery has been lasting well over 50km.
Most impressive was Noko support, after getting the bike i had a problem with the battery of my bike. They responding to WhatsApp chat promptly with advice, when the problem was unable to be resolved remotely they assisted in finding the proper support and eventually shipping back for the problem to be resolved.
I recommend this company and bike highly.

"Nice bike, good service"

I've had my Noko Tempo bike for two years now. It's a good bike, looks great and functions well. I probably should've ordered dual battery, as I have to recharge the bike after every commute (32 km return), as there's not enough power left for a second round.
The rack has caused some headaches, it can't take heavy items on top of it, and it gets loose, but I'm going to experiment with a saddle bag next.
The delivery was good, and bike easy to set up. One part was missing, but that was sent promptly. Customer service was efficient and friendly.
