"Problème lors de la restitution du véhicule "

Au départ tout se passe bien, on récupère un véhicule le samedi 18 avril vers 1h du matin au Terminal 3 de l'aéroport.
2 jours après pour démarrer ce véhicule, on est obligé de demander des cosses.
Le lendemain pareil, obligé de demander des cosses.
Le soir, le véhicule ne veut plus démarrer du tout. Je contacte donc le service d'urgence qui me dit d'attendre l'ouverture du comptoir à 9h le lendemain (heureusement que c'est un service d'urgence).
Le lendemain matin, je suis obligé de les rappeler à 10h car je n'ai pas de retour.
Ils me disent qu'ils envoient quelqu'un avec une voiture de rechange.
Vers 12h, le véhicule arrive en effet.
Je termine donc mon séjour et lorsque je ramène ce véhicule le 27 avril pour mon départ, l'agent au comptoir SULEIMAN me dit que je dois payer la consommation d'essence pour le véhicule en panne qu'ils sont venus récupérer. Je lui explique que je ne pouvais pas faire le plein puisque j'étais en panne, il me dit oui mais je dois payer et je lui demande comment j'aurais dû faire puisque le véhicule ne bougeait plus. Il me répond que ça ne le regarde pas.
Il faut savoir qu'il m'a facturé un montant dont je ne m'explique pas et qui n'a pas lieu d'être pour moi puisque j'étais en panne.
Je tiens à signaler d'ailleurs que je suis un client soi-disant "PREMIUM" .
Est-ce normal ?


Problem returning the vehicle At first, everything went well.
We picked up a vehicle on Saturday, April 18th, around 1:00 a.m. at Terminal 3 of the airport.
Two days later, to start the vehicle, we had to ask for cables.
The next day, the same thing happened: we had to ask for cables.
That evening, the vehicle wouldn't start at all. So I contacted the emergency service, who told me to wait for the counter to open at 9:00 a.m. the next day (thankfully, it's an emergency service).
The next morning, I had to call them back at 10:00 a.m. because I hadn't heard back. They told me they were sending someone with a replacement car.
Around 12:00 p.m., the vehicle did indeed arrive.
So I finished my stay, and when I returned the vehicle on April 27th for my departure, the agent at the counter SULEIMAN told me that I had to pay for the gas consumption for the broken-down vehicle they had come to collect. I explained to him that I couldn't fill up the tank because I had broken down. He said yes, but I had to pay. I asked him how I should have done it since the vehicle wasn't moving. He replied that it was none of his business. You should know that he charged me an amount I can't explain and that I shouldn't have been charged since I had broken down.
I should also point out that I'm a so-called "PREMIUM" customer.
Is this normal?

"Cannot trust to give them credit card…"

Cannot trust to give them credit card details. After 1 month of returning the car I saw a trasaction on my card. When i called them they said there was a damage on the car. Which wasnt there when i returned the car-they checked and verified. I have photos and videos with me. Now I have to file a fraud report.

"NEVER BOOK WITH AVIS UAE"

NEVER, EVER EVER BOOK WITH THEM. EVER. After returning from my trip they keep sending me invoices for a fine (which they provided no proof) Impound release fee, (the vehicle was NEVER impounded while I rented it, and ongoing fees that I am still enquiring about with no joy. The staff are USELESS.

Save yourself the stress. They have scammed me for about $1000 so far. Never ever again

"Thieves"

I am deeply disappointed by the service of the AVIS car rental agency at Dubai Airport. It has now been 3 months and I still have not received the refund of my deposit, despite multiple follow-ups via email and WhatsApp. Each time, I only receive vague responses with no real commitment. This is a complete lack of professionalism and customer respect. Every time I contact the agency, I am met with empty apologies, but nothing changes. It is unacceptable that a company of this size treats its customers in this way. The Dubai agency seems to be made up of completely incompetent and inefficient people, to the point where I wonder if they even know what they are doing. If you want a hassle-free car rental experience, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The Dubai agency is a disgrace, and I can only advise against doing business with them.

"Racism and lack of knowledge"

I arrived on time to pick up the car i odered 2 months prior.. i gave the man at AVIS JBR Sadaf 7 desk an expired EID by mistake... when i tried to give him my valid Australian passport and licence he told me i cant use them as i am a resident of UAE.. he was the one that pointed out it had expired 6 months prior... i was arguing and showing my confirmation email saying i have to provide a valid passport and licence OR a local licence... i couldnt understand why he was saying i need a UAE drivers licence which was impossible to get as im not a resident.. just a tourist... he then called me a "stupid white man".... i informed customer service about this who gave a generic response about taking it seriously and then stopped replying to my emails.... there is no room for racism in this world and AVIS as a company is disgusting for allowing this to happen with no consequences

I then contacted Thrifty and had a car delivered to me within 1 hour

After waiting for four months for the cooperative insurance amount in every place you can imagine the right place to get your money back from this company is (Consumer Protection Dubai) after submitting Duduly two weeks I got my full refund thanks a lot for eliminating the consumer (and to provide all of that through their website), of course the reason is the reason for taking the insurance

My experience with AVIS dubai was quite good, i always get my car from their sheikh zayed branch, ive been renting for 5 months and they helped me with everything, they give good price, they are helpful as they can be , i had an emergency once and asked for a refund and they did it even though in their policy it was not written, i recommend this company over all the others in dubai, they dont take the deposit they just hold it in your credit card which is good

Do not book with this company it's a total scam. Booked for 7 seater. On arrival they said they run out of 7 seater, offered 5 seater temporarily and they will deliver within few hours 7 seater. Now the customer service don't respond.

"Stay clear from @AVISUAE "

Stay clear from @AVISUAE . It is the absolute worst rental company in the UAE. Despite being a Presidents Club member I was given a dud of a car. Two days into my 16 day rental, the Service light came on. I returned the car and it was replaced with another car. I barely drove it 2km and the driver side seatbelt locked. They promised to deliver a car the next day to my hotel. They never showed up. So I told them to come pick up the car and was no longer interested in a car from them. They were there within the hour. I have been waiting for the last week for s refund. Their management is still studying the matter. I got an email yesterday from them telling me they are processing a refund that is 1/6 of the amount of unused days. @AVISUAE @Avis. Shame on you.
