Advice sought regarding a broken bracket to an internal door within my own flat. Contacted Mainstay and received an email response the same day from George the property service advisor. Very helpful and offered to point me in the right direction to get it fixed.

"Less than satisfactory"
Our experience of Mainstay in Caerphilly has been less than satisfactory. We emailed them about parking spaces and it took us to send another email before they deigned to reposed. They are also not quick at solving issues raised. They send intimidating emails (including one email breaching the residents privacy by sending pictures of their door number to all the residents) and are quick to blame residents for not adhering to rules, but do not stick to their end of the bargain with cleaning and maintenance, which is covered by residents in an extortionate maintenance fee.

Terrible company. They overcharge, are unreasonable and try to bully and intimidate you. Stay clear of them.

James Bradshore listened to me and the issue we were having. He worked hard together with his manager Scott and came back to me with a resolve to the issue. There was some delay but they were waiting for answers from their clients. James was always friendly and helpful and explained things in such a way that I could understand.thanks again both.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I am shielding and they were trying to force their way into my house to check for a leak that my estate agency told them isn't in my house. This was from 7pm - 10pm on a Saturday night. They used abusive techniques like switching my water off, despite me having Crohn's Disease, kept knocking on my door and ringing my bell, and got the neighbours to keep harrassing me with texts, for which my number was handed out by another girl in the building without my consent, and were even getting permission to gain forced access. They found the leak upstairs then left without switching my water back on. A couple of days later, I had a parcel stolen from post room, and mainstay don't want to know, they tell me that I have to report it to the police just to check the CCTV. The police have more important things to do!

My comments are regarding the quality services that I have received from Fraser, our property services advisor from Mainstay Residential. My house had boiler pipe leakage issues for twice during the lockdowns, each time I contacted Fraser, he always gave a prompt response, took swift actions as requested, and helped to solve the issue efficiently, I am indeed very impressed with his sense of responsibility, efficiency and kindness to his customers. I think that he provides a high standard of services that a management company should provide to their customers, Super!
