Well so far everything has been easy to follow, ive set up my new e-mail prior to the 24th with ii, that went well, my account there is ready to accept the transfer, im hoping that when I log on , on Monday im good to go, obviously there will be some problems with some people, but help is there if you need it,

Pissups and breweries (the organising of) i think this expression fits the shambolic exercise we are witnessing.
An unusable password reset facility, a help line that doesnt work and online web sites which are inoperative.
Surely the !evel of customer queries was predictable and resources should have been avaliable.
I will not be staying.

"Why no extra staff to deal with ii transfer issues"

EQi must have known there would be problems transferring customers to ii but they have failed to employ the staff to deal with it. Typical of EQi's service since enforced transfer from SAGA. I have given up waiting for the phone to be answered after 20mins and 10mins respectively.

"My parents have been treated badly by EQI"

My parents, who are in their late 80s and share an email address, have been told that in the EQI transfer to ii they are required to have separate email addresses for each account.
This may be for security reasons, however, if customers choose to use one email address they should be allowed to do so.
What on eating is happening?
I don’t relish spending the next few days on the phone trying to sort this mess out.
You won’t have much luck talking to my father who is deaf and has never used a computer in his life!
Really really fed up.

"The enforced transfer of our accounts…"

The enforced transfer of our accounts to II is a nightmare. Apart from the unavoidable disruption, systems fail to work correctly, emails are not answered promptly (obvs, given the rod they've made for their own back), you cannot get through to Eqi by phone and now I learn that II will only accept one account per email address. I control 4 (of which two are for investment club groups) - so this is beyond a 'difficult nuisance' - it's a catastrophe. Am I going to be excluded from even looking at several portfolios for the duration? Utter shambles.

Just to be fair, I received a call from EQI, a gentleman called Amar who patiently and understandably took me through the whole process and I'm now able to access my ii account. Thank you Amar

"Dreadful service."

I have just spent the last 25 minutes waiting in vain for someone to answer my phone calls. My account is being moved to ii, into which decision I had no input and I have not received the relevant information to set up the new account. On the plus side, I'm breaking free of the appalling service offered by EQI. 18 months into covid is it really a valid excuse for the lack of contact via either the secure message or phone services?
I was however contacted shortly after leaving my review on trust pilot. The matter is now resolved.

"Worse than Hopeless"

I tried to transfer money into my dealing account but it was refused due to Eqi system not following the correct security procedure.
I am therefore unable to trade.
Also they are not answering the phone or secure message so I am in limbo.
They are obviously not fit to run a share dealing platform and should be reported to the authorities.

"hopeless"

hopeless. I cant get access to my money on line for about 2 months. Their phones cut you off after the long security sequence as they are too busy. E mail request for help answers with go to login and request help. Ridiculous. Share view was so good now im stuck with EQi untill whenever i dont know.
Update....I have eventually had a phone call from EQi who have admitted the problems I had and apologised. Though it took quite a bit of complaining I am happy they phoned back and with the outcome.

"I am having a terrible time with EQI…"

I am having a terrible time with EQI and am starting to suffer extreme stress due to having a holding of nearly £1m which was sent and received by my SIPP provider to my EQI account on 14th May. It has disappeared into thin air and I just cannot get through to them. I have only received an invitation via their secure message facility to raise a complaint. I don't want to complain I want my money. The SIPP provider got a response as well saying the complaints team were looking into it.
To misplace my life savings and then give me zero feedback is the worst service imaginable.
Ironically they sent me an email explaining their fee structure this morning. This just isn't any good for my health.
