"Trying to Leave"

I was moved to EQI from another platform, which prompted me to consolidate my platforms. 4 weeks in and I haven't been able to sell a share or close my account. Promised call backs don't happen.

"System degrades daily"

Been a user through an investment club for over a year. Since January system has been virtually unusable. Sometimes showing Nasdaq as closed when open. Today trying to buy a stock traded on German markets and getting "Unfortunately we are currently unable to execute your trade online. This is probably due to your order exceeding the online market size. Please complete the details below and submit your order to a dealer. Unfortunately at this time due to COVID-19 our dealers are unable to offer a call back service. If you wish to amend your order please press cancel." Useless, Useless!

"I have been with EQi for years"

I have been with EQi for years. They have always been good in my experience. Yes, a few trades could not be completed online (hence the VG and not excellent rating) but the staff have been efficient (see replies to good and bad comments here for example) and generally I have no major complaints. It may be different for traders. However, unfortunately all this will change now. ii are going to take over our accounts and somehow, per what I have heard, there could well be more complaints to come! Since I live overseas and it is hard (impossible) to open new accounts with a provider I can see that this would be a perfect chance for ii to make excuses and close my account too! I certainly hope that does not happen as it would be against my wishes. An uncertain and worrying summer re: my account looms.

"Joined a few days ago"

I joined a few days ago as I always wanted a Selftrade account. It was straightforward and I deposited some money and did a trade without any problem. All seems well so far. The I received a request to post a review so I read the other Trustpilot reviews - pretty alarming to be honest. A lot of bad reviews in recent weeks. I am happy so far but will monitor their reviews and see how things go.

"Not The Best Web Application"

After using the EQI site now for a 3/4 weeks the very best I can say is its cobbled together. Not a patch on the old Equiniti site. You happen across things that are not clearly available then find it difficult to go back to them. What a rigmarole setting your dividend preferences. And why would I want to see a whole list of Companies I have no holding in?.
Scrolling up and down the screen constantly to view your holding is ridiculous. Is it because the platform is not suitable for mobile devices? Who knows but it needs fixing.

"SOXL split shares not credited"

SOXL split 15:1 but split shares have not been credited to my account. As a result I am out of pocket by £30K. I have called the help desk twice this week but no progress has been made to resolve and I have been asked both times how do I know the split has happened!

Meanwhile, due to market volatility, and this being a leveraged ETF, price has dropped 30% in few days while I am sat twiddling my thumbs not able to sell as you have not credited the split shares in my account. Do you bear any liability for this which has resulted from your error to credit my account properly?

This is a $3.5b ETF that has had a 15:1 split and you just have to look up google to know this has split!

I cant paste link here from ETF provider to show they split shares this week due to trustpilot policy but just type "SOXL 15:1 split" in google to know this has indeed happened!

Can you please resolve this urgently?

"Easy to use for a beginner..."

I have just set up a Stocks and Shares ISA for the first time. I found it easy and simple to set up and trade and my questions have been answered quickly by customer services. Given I only made a very small number of trades I have had trades fail to execute, and have been unable to login reliably at times. As I only plan to trade very infrequently the unreliability won't affect me too much. As a beginner the platform has met my needs but obviously given how little I have used it and how often it is out or has problems I wouldn't recommend for regular trading.

"Site unreliable"

Over the past week or so the site has been inaccessable, slow as a snail or plain inoperative once logged in.The dealing platform gave quotes on 2 occassions only to fail to execute.A lengthy chat with customer service achieved little other than apologies.PLEASE bring back the good old days of Selftrade when problems of this nature were unheard of.Will be voting with my feet if these problems persist.

What the hell is wrong with Eqi and its management that they can’t run this company efficiently ??

Once again I’m trying sign in online to the Eqi website and a message keeps coming ‘we appear to have a problem at this time. Please try again. If it persists please call customer services’.

If I call customer services the call goes overseas and customer services can’t hear me ....though I can hear them.

Meanwhile some shares I bought in an IPO last week have still not been credited to my trading account.

Shame on you Eqi management ....... this was a perfectly well run and great trading site for 15-20 years before you came along and changed it for the worse.

Will be looking to shift my accounts elsewhere as soon as possible.

at least 3 times in the last few weeks I have been unable to trade before 8.15.....site keeps saying ' we have been unable to get a quote' despite having shown a quote price...all of this is in slow motion.....
