I have been a tenant with your housing for over 20 years had no problem when it was ting sing when your housing took over omg the worst association ever my issue started 4 years ago damp and mould after 2 years of fighting with solicitors telling them I wasn’t interested in money they sacked me made an excuse I had breeched my contract they are being sued for being fraudulent.they did do me a massive favour though they gave me a bundle which contained data reports from your housing groups own repair reports which showed your housing group and the solicitors where just interested in not having this case in court just wanted to give me £1000 and bodge the property but I refused I wanted my property fixed properly so I went to court your housing group did not turn up the judge failed us just said in your favour here’s x amount off you pop.now YHG want to come back in and bodge the property but I refuse they don’t care no body does so now I am going to go public with all my evidence that I have collected over the 4 years they have left me no choice all they do is lie when I phone up I give my house number an postcode and they hang up I contacted the mp they lied to them I have all emails pictures videos dated as proof I am not letting them away with this anymore I have nothing to lose anymore my marriage has broke down my mental health is bad aswell as my health I am now getting all tenants off the estate together so we can tell are stories and the ones I have heard are heartbreaking just like mine we can put all our evidence together so if you live on fairylane contact me on my email and I will give you my info

"From water ingress to heating faults…"
From water ingress to heating faults all present for longer than 3 months without any fixes. Anti social behaviour is a real issue with racial slurs being the norm and threats against me and my family. Loud noise and drug parties but complaints being ignored. All began in September 2023 and is still ongoing. Gas engineer supposibly fixes a fault and leaves but nothing has been fixed. After reporting water ingress in September, finally in October after mentioning the intention to get the ombudsman and involved someone shows up to inspect the water ingress on back and front of house. Inspect, no follow ups or anything, chased it up mid December just to be told it's to late now and will have to wait till January, chased again to be told it'll be towards the end of the first week in January. That passes and again nothing, chased again and was hung up on. No call back either, then received a text confirming further dates with only half the job covered. The property is in a state of disrepair with loose bathroom tiles ready to fall off. Explained the situation numerous times, I have Cancer and going through chemo and we have a little lad that just turned 2. All this is ignored. This will now referred to the ombudsman and legal action will be taken.

There’s is no point complaining to the Housing association regarding nuisance from neighbours nothing gets done and they( neighbour) just get away with it. It’s driving me mad all the noise!!! I shouldn’t have to suffer on may own house because of inconsiderate people. You guys need to do better.

My partner is in remission from cancer have a 7yr old in the house no heating or hot water in December YHG are an absolute joke ..... so now I have cancelled my rent direct debit see if they finally do something

Your housing just go from bad to worse, my main electric/consumer box was making crackling sounds and smelling of burn.. so I ring them for them to say it’s not our problem you need to get your own electrician because your shared ownership and it’s past your 12 months… this is a new build and the electrics should have a certificate of safety and should not be burning the RCD breaker!! My house could of gone up in flames over the weekend with me and my young children inside of it, all because someone hasn’t fit the breaker on the box properly which should be covered for 10 years minimum!

Shocking they don't give a toss about people who have a disability. They do the bare minimum, can't read door numbers properly. Can't get hold of housing officer perfectly fine if you tell that you have a mental health issue.never listen when they come round or when you email them . It is not the repairs it is the ones at the top. don't give a toss all you care about is the rent. My husband Is very ill and very lucky to be alive .they do give an appointment to come round through emails and tell you it is tha damp and mold team when it is a building surveyor we need.my husband has just been put on the waiting list for a heart transplant.i have found mold in the bedroom and the housing is trying to deny that we have any . My husband is sleeping in the front room and has been for a year . Can't sleep in the bedroom. Waiting for 6 months so far for a repair still not done and doing everyone's else's on the street repairs and my husband is waiting for LVAD hopefully and then maybe a heart transplant.is is because we are not from Liverpool or not born here

"Nothing Changes"
Just been looking at some of the review's especially those relating to ASB and nothing seems to have changed. We had years of this and all Wythenshawe Housing Group did was avoid or defend the culprits. The so-called ASB Officer seemed to condone the behaviour and actually encourage it.
Hopefully in time these properties will eventually be placed, once again, under the control and auspices of Manchester City Council. How this Organisation managed a Hat Trick in Awards fascinates me and can only assume they are Mickey Mouse awards.

On the 6th November I raised a complaint regarding how I have been treated by An ASO officer. I received a reply on the 7th November and was promised a manager would contact me. I am still waiting, this whole experience has been very frustrating and stressful. I think Your housing group are a joke.

Unhelpful, called numerous times to get a leak fixed…no communication, no follow
Up calls, asked for a complaint to be logged and each time I call back, no complaint has been logged. Completely ignorant, unhelpful, disgusting customer service. Will be involving local MP now, posting on social media and advising every single person not to use YHG.

Never had a problem with YHG, if you can actually communicate with people in the appropriate manner, the issues get resolved. After reading alot of the comments, most are needless and people love to whinge.
At least YHG reply to every/most reviews,that isn't what a,bad company does!!!!!!! Trustpilot in no way reflects YHG as a, company. Most happy tenants don't post positive reviews
