What a fantastic company and great product. We bought the 400 thread Egyptian cotton satin sheets, for the summer, really prompt delivery.

"Poor service and product."
I ordered a "coolmax" euro king sized mattress protector from this company. Only after ordering did it become clear how long delivery would take so I asked to cancel the order and it was agreed. So far so good. My partner managed to order a similar one from soak and sleep and for a much better price but then I received an email from bedlinen direct to say that the item had already been sent out and therefore they would no longer refund me. It quickly became clear the item had not been sent out at all as a week passed and nothing but they continued to refuse my request to honour the cancellation and refund they had offered. I have the proof of shipping as the date of dispatch was on the shipping label and it did not leave the factory for more than another week so there was ample time to have stopped the order and have done what they originally agreed to, saving the most ridiculous email back and forth.
In short, this company reneged on an agreement they made to cancel and refund me. Once they had my money they were clearly not going to let it go. I would also add that the quality of the item i eventually received was really poor, far inferior to the one i received from soak and sleep. The one from soak and sleep had the cool max logo throughout the fabric stitch and is a lovely thick soft protector that looks like it will last years. The one from bedlinen direct is thin, the fabric that goes around the sides of the mattress is so flimsy and cheap it looks like it will snag in a second. It had a loose paper label stuffed in the bag that said cool max, no other evidence. I was blatantly lied to by multiple members of staff from this company and their products are of significantly inferior quality to elsewhere. I am considering notifying trading standards as feel so let down by them both in terms of service and quality, Indo not believe the item i received is a cool max product. I feel ripped off. I would absolutely avoid ordering from them.

"Excellent customer service and great product"
I ordered some bedlinen and needed it to be delivered quickly. I contacted Customer Support to request a speedy despatch. My request was answered very quickly and Customer Support helped ensure the items were delivered ahead of my deadline, even answering an email quickly on a Saturday.
The items are great, just what I wanted, and the service I received from Customer Service and the team at Bed Linen Direct was excellent.

"Five star service & five star products"
I submitted an order but did not receive an email confirmation. When I called the company to query this, Carl advised me (very diplomatically!) that I had misspelt my own email address on the order form. The order had been received and the goods were on their way.
My order was for flannelette brushed cotton sheets. I could not be happier with the quality & softness. These sheets feel absolutely wonderful: soft, cosy & inviting. I intend to order a further set in another colour, which shows how happy & impressed I am with the bedlinen I have received.

I have ordered two seperate 800gsm bath towels from this company, both of which did not arrive, different excuses were used for both orders. Blaming Deyongs, discontinuing stock without them being informed etc. have had to get refunds on both orders. will not use them again. The items are still advertised as available, and an offer was made of an inferior product as replacement

Exceptional customer service from Carl, I was so impressed. It is unusual for a company to be prompt in response, efficient and willing to change a placed order (I wanted to add something and not incur the extra postage charge) yet Carl made it happen, even in tricky circumstances. My order is on its way but how can what I receive not be amazing when this company is incredibly flexible and efficient already?!
