Rather than assume, as I had, that the thermostat was broken, they talked me through pre-checks to eliminate everything else - they were right and fixing the power supplied to the thermostat fixed the issue. Very patient and helpful.

Installation was straight forward for the engineer apparently but as the end customer I can confirm the product is poor. The user interface is awful. It never picks up our actual WiFi (which is very strong throughout the house) and the settings to do a simple timer are overly complicated. The thermostat is also inaccurate. You have to turn up your thermostat highest to feel heat. I wish we had gone with a different supplier.
