"WINGIE IS A SCAM"

WINGIE IS A SCAM. I HAD BOOKED MY RETURN TICKETS FOR SELF AND FAMILY (DAMMAM-MUMBAI) RETURN, DUE TO UNAVIODABLE CIRCUMSTANCES I HAD TO CANCELL THE AIR INDIA TICKETS. AIR INDIA PROMPTLY CANCELLED THE TICKETS HAVING PNR # JGGZ9A and JG94SH AND THEY ASKED ME TO CONTACT WINGIE FOR THE REFUND. BUT WINGIE HAS BEEN PLAYING DIRTY AND DENYING MY REFUND. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR TICKET FROM WINGIE THEY ARE A SCAM

"Still not satisfied at all !!"

Hello, I actually intended to change the review to something positive, but what happened made me confirm that this platform defrauds customers and takes their money, and even when it returns it to them, it does not return the full amount. I got back the amount I paid previously after three days, and of course the flight ticket prices have changed and I will not be able to complete my reservation at the previous price I paid, which is not my fault and I have nothing to do with it, near or far. Instead of compensating me with an amount of money for what happened and the increase in the ticket price, I was surprised that the amount that was returned to me was less than what I paid. Why? Because I paid the amount in Qatari riyals and the site calculated it in Saudi riyals, and I do not know why. It is a very strange thing that I have encountered for the first time in my life, and I have been traveling and booking tickets from platforms and sites since 20 years. What is worse and worse than that is that the site returned the amount to me in Saudi riyals as well on the credit card, which is owned by a Qatari bank !!! The result was that the bank calculated an interest rate on the refunded amount, and thus the amount I paid was reduced by 100 Qatari riyals !!! Instead of compensating me for the loss of the reservation and the difference in its price to the top, the site punished me by reducing the refund amount from the original amount !!!! Therefore, I do not advise any customer to deal with this platform to book airline tickets in the future because even after they refund the amount you paid, they will return it to you less !!!! I am very sorry for this very bad experience and I regret very much dealing with this site to book an airline ticket.

I had booked a ticket from Faisalabad to Dubai, but the airline changed the route, which led to my decision to cancel the ticket. I subsequently submitted a refund request, but as of now, the refunded amount has not been reflected in our account.

I kindly request you to check the status of the refund and ensure that the amount is processed and credited to our account as soon as possible.

"Charge more than what was quoted !"


1- price per ticket advertised at QR2506 (total 4 tickets is 10,024)
2- I only added QR8 for for ticket for SMS (total should 10,032)
3- Total price jumped to QR10,272. Check the attached... I said fine it is not worth it.
4- Price is equivalent to 10,834SAR
5- When i paid i was charged 11,419SAR ....
Raised a complaint, a lady called me and told the reason for the difference is due to paying visa not Mastercard. It was not mentioned anywhere. She said it is if you move the mouse in top of payment bottom when checking out lol… I used my phone for purchase ! In my opinion this is cheating and misleading to show low prices while they withdraw more.
Update after wingie reply. true i used a computer tablet. However there was no place indicating the price difference or discount through out the process. i wish i can attach here screenshots that i took during the process. when i reached checkout page the price was clear but after paying, i was charged more!
I do not want a refund i just want all others customers be aware of your sleezy way to show you have a cheap tickets... i can share the screenshots i took with the receipt to whomever is interested to know more.

"I had an incredibly disappointing…"

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Wingie, and I feel it’s important to share this with everyone to prevent others from going through the same frustration.

Despite my best efforts to resolve an issue regarding my flight, Wingie’s customer service offered no meaningful support. I canceled my booking voluntarily to avoid a “no-show,” but their response was rigid and unhelpful. They refused to issue a reasonable refund, leaving me feeling completely ignored and unappreciated as a customer.

The customer service is subpar, and there is a clear lack of flexibility when dealing with unexpected situations. I strongly advise NOT using Wingie for any travel bookings. The platform is unreliable, and in my experience, they are unwilling to take responsibility or assist when issues arise.

I’ll be sharing this review on all major social media platforms, and I urge anyone reading this to think twice before booking through Wingie. Don’t make the mistake I did. There are much better and more trustworthy platforms out there.

"I have booked a flight from Dubai to Mogadishu "

I have booked a flight from Dubai to Mogadishu 2 weeks ago. After booking the money has been deducted from my account and I have received the electronic ticket. 2 days later went to the airport to check in 3 hours before a flight, and in check in there is no Hahn airlines going to Mogadishu at all on this day, in addition for the timing from the ticket there is no flight to Mogadishu at all, the ticket number on the electronic ticket does not exist in any of the airlines system in the check in. In Mogadishu I wrote an email to Wingie and informed them about that. The answer was once you come back please contact us but you have the return ticket. Then I went to the airport in Mogadishu and again no Hahn airlines flying from Mogadishu on this day, no flight at all at this timing, and of course no ticket with the number provided on electronic ticket from Wingie.
I contacted Wingie per email and phone and I was asked to wait 7 business days because they need to check it. After 7 days I have received the answer per email that Wingie is selling the tickets but does not take any responsibility for information on the ticket so if the information is wrong one should contact the airlines!
I think that is very interesting that Wingie sells tickets for airlines but they don’t take any responsibility for the tickets and the information on the tickets and passengers need to contact the airline to get refund for the ticket but the passengers did not buy the ticket from the airline!!!
My recommendation after this very bad experience is please buy the tickets for the flights directly from the airlines!!!
If you buy tickets from Wingie they don’t take any responsibility for the tickets and if there is a problem with the ticket it passengers problem…. So really my advice buy it directly from the airline and not through Wingie!

I did not receive any compensation for the wrong ticket! And I have learned the lesson buy the ticket by the airline directly!!


The answer from Wingie team supports my final summary from my experience from booking with Wingie team!
You will receive an electronic ticket and if you lucky and the information is correct on the ticket you may have a good flight. But if the information is not correct than it is your problem and you can try to clarify it with the airline. Since you did not buy the ticket directly from the airline than you can’t clarify anything with the airline!
And from Wingie team you will receive response that they don’t take responsibility for changes for your flight!
From my experience I have learned that if you don’t want to lose your money and get to your destination buy flight ticket directly by the airline and not from third party agency because the airline will take responsibility for the booking of the ticket and reschedule your flight or offer you a different solution e.g money refund!
