"Complete house loss"

When my property burnt down I was so devastated and had no idea how to sort everything with the Insurance. After speaking with Harris Balcombe I was assigned Danielle who would deal with my claim. Danielle was amazing, she fought hard to get people out to assess the damage, get all quotes, absolutely everything extremely quickly. I still can't believe the speed and the dedication Danielle put into sorting my case out. I highly recommend Danielle not only for her hard work but for the constant correspondence, back up and just being there at a time a really needed a friend. I could of never done what Danielle did on my own. I can't thank Harris Balcombe and Danielle enough. Absolute top service.

"Very grateful for the support we had…"

Very grateful for the support we had from Harris Balcombe, particularly from Dannielle. Through one of the most difficult times of our lives, Dannielle made every effort to ensure that we were supported and treated fairly throughout the whole process of something that you can never prepare for until it happens to you. Dannielle always responded to any queries in a timely manner whenever we had any concerns or queries. When we suffered from our tragic circumstances, there were countless people cold calling at our home, offering/pushing their services on us but we never had that experience from Harris Balcolmbe, they respected that our world had been turned upside down and were clearly in a state of distress which, when looking into what having such input does for you in this situation, gave us the confidence that they genuinely cared and helped me make the decision to instruct them to help us through the hell that we were going through. Can’t thank you enough for how helpful you were and I would definitely recommend their services to anybody who requires their input through such challenging times.

"Fee fullt justifed by Expertise and Results"

Without Harris Balcombe our claim would not have been succesful, we would not have recovered our losses. Key the claim was there level of expertise as initially our claim was rejected. I would recommend them for Business Interruption & Material Damage loss. What we found early oun our claims experince is that your local claims handler or broker will have nowhere near the technical and claims management experience of Harris Balcombe/+

"Home again after a house fire…"

I cannot believe we are back home, it still feels surreal…

Back in Feb 2024 we had a house fire in our family home, and it literally took everything from us.

We felt so lost and broken & even though we had insurance we were so left in the dark with things it was just so scary, we didn’t understand the process or what was really going on, and simply digesting the fact the house was gone was enough.

Communication with the insurance was long winded every time, it consumed so much time and having a baby and a young child, that was so hard.

So I googled in desperation to see if there was anyone out there who could help us with the whole thing and that’s when I came across Harris Balcome.

Bringing Harris Balcome into the mix in the early stages really helped to ease the whole process. The minute they were on board from then on everything just went smooth, the insurance communicated with Harris Balcome only and then Jonathan Ingham (who was assigned to our file) contacted us. & He actually cared too!!!! I cried on the phone to him a lot in the beginning (poor man, haha, but I was in the first year postpartum) and he was so kind every time. He explained things to help us make the right choices for our family home.

All in all, I am honestly so happy to have come across Jonathan at Harris Balcome. The whole process was seamless and he helped us to understand so much more, giving us realistic time frames, chasing the insurance and not leaving us in the dark like the insurance seemed to do.

Our house is now perfect, it feels so good to be home.

…Jonathan did everything he could to ensure we have had the correct building works done so that there is no smoke damage left in the property (unlike the insurance who just wanted to wipe down and repaint!).

If you are sadly in the circumstance me and my family were in, do not hesitate to get in contact with Harris Balcome because it will be the best thing you ever did.

"Honest and useful advice"

Should have got Harris Balcombe involved from the start of our claim so that the narrative could have been controlled. Nevertheless, some honest and useful advice from JP on how to take the claim forward and steps to follow in dealing with the insurance company on our own. A good recommend to get this company involved from the very outset of a complex claim.

"I instructed HB for a complicated claim…"

I instructed HB for a complicated claim involving an arson attack on my rental property as this is not my field and I was extremely busy with my own work. I was appointed Danielle who acted quickly and efficiently through out a complicated process involving a lot of tough negotiating to achieve a more than fair offer after receiving a nothing short of insulting first offer. Dannielle kept in touch throughout and was always there at the other end of the phone to answer any questions. Although this has been a stressful time I could not have done it without her.

"Highly Recommended"

After our home was affected by unprecedented flooding, friends recommended we should contact Harris Balcombe for help. Jeremy Balcombe assigned Jonathan Ingham to our case.
From the moment Jonathan first visited he gave us reassurance he would take everything in hand. He was true to his word, explaining our entitlements and negotiating on our behalf - alternative accommodation cover, damaged contents, dealing direct with insurance to secure the best outcome possible, plus more. He was professional, diligent, empathetic, and a pro at answering emails at lightning speed!

"Fantastic service and would highly…"

Fantastic service and would highly recommend. Claims are incredibly stressful and having a company like Harris Balcombe on your side really takes the pressure off. Samantha was incredible from start to finish, and was on the ball with every aspect of the claim. I had very little to worry about and any concerns that did surface during the process, was dealt with by Sam swiftly and efficiently. Could not recommend them higher!

"Third experience"

Our company has now used HB on three occasions, all due to water related incidents and all with outstanding results. We would not have arrived at the end of each claim in as healthy a position without their help, but this has been our experience.

A severe insurance claim can be extremely traumatic, especially as loss adjusters seem to have a need and ability to plumb ever lower depths but the experience and guiding hands of HB can be a great support and comfort.

Our latest claim commenced on 7th July 2023 with a roof collapse due to inundation and was only completed on 3rd January 2025. Patience and tenacity are therefore necessary requirements.

We would most certainly recommend them, thank you Mark and Jeremy.
