"First class service from Matt in the…"

First class service from Matt in the Truro store. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, not the least bit pushy or spouting sales hype. We shopped around for our bed purchase and we decided that Matt’s technical input and financial authority over price meant that spending over £5000 on a bed from Furniture World was the way to go.
We are renewing other bedroom furniture later in the year and will go back to seek Matts help.

Really great experience shopping at newquays furniture world . Debi was excellent , she is a wonderful people person and professional in her line of work . Very helpful and efficient .
We are very satisfied with our new sofa , thanks to Debi and the team there .

"Very knowledgeable and friendly staff."

The staff at FurnitureWorld Truro are extremely knowledgeable and not at all pushy. The chap I spoke with predominately listened to my requirements and also gave me a few points to consider when deciding which sofa and bedroom furniture to buy. I am extremely satisfied. Thank you so much!

"Such a horrible experience with…"

Such a horrible experience with furniture world. The man who sold me my bed didn't mention about returns at all. When it came to me wanting to return they then told me I couldn't. I asked through email about the policy paperwork they just wrote it in an email, not once did he show me a physical paper policy. They made me feel trapped with a bed I didn't want and still don't want after nearly 2 weeks of having it. With my mattress there was 2 free pillows, FREE PILLOWS. When I wanted to return them and the mattress I was told they could expedite the mattress but I would then have to pay for the Free pillows as its in their policy that they can't accept them back. The policy I wasn't told about or shown. I'm stuck now as I've got a mattress I don't want that I spend alot of money on and 2 pillows that if I sent the mattress back I would have to pay £120 each for the Free pillows. WHAT A SCAM. This is also the same for the mattress protector I brought that I want to send back as its definitely not worth the price but I was told that if I put the mattress protector on the mattress it is protected with the warenty. Because I was told this I put it on the bed but now that I want to bring it back with everything else I can't, again this policy I was never told about when I brought it or shown when I asked to see it. They all went off word of mouth so that they can catch you out with their scam of a shop. Worst place ever. I have told everyone I know never to shop at furniture world ever and people have told me simular stories. I'm in so much pain because of this bed. I don't care what the sales man says it's not the best mattress at all. If you ever want to buy a TEMPUR buy it from the tempur website. I DID REPLY TO ALL EMAILS AND CALLS!!!!

"Excellent service and quality throughout"

From walking in to the showroom to the delivery of my beautiful sofa, I received excellent customer care and help throughout. I appreciated Kelen’s help when I was deciding which sofa and then the swatch choices arrived in good time. I was very pleased to learn Furniture World carry out a free practice run to make sure the furniture fits through the doorways. Delivery dates were well organised and when the sofa arrived, they were friendly and helpful. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, the material is gorgeous and the sofa is extremely comfortable. I highly recommend Furniture World in Redruth.

Excellent service!! Keelan(I hope I've spelt that correctly) assisted us brilliantly with selecting an adjustable bed for my parents. It made it so much easier when we returned for the second visit with my mother to actually make a purchase. Thank you so much!!

"Shocking Customer Service"

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with both the handling of my order cancellation and the shocking customer service I received.

After asking for a cancellation, I was told that the transaction was cancelled, but there was no refund available because the PayPal payment “didn’t come through.” This response from Zia is completely misleading, as I have verified that the payment was processed successfully. When I attempted to discuss the situation further with your team over the phone, I was met with hostility, argumentative responses, and a complete lack of respect for me as a customer. I was even asked if I had “put a stop on my payment,” which is not only inappropriate but unprofessional.

My payment remains un-refunded and it’s deeply concerning that your company is pretending not to have received a valid payment. I’ve had to deal with an unpleasant and frustrating experience when trying to communicate with your customer service team, and I am left feeling both disregarded and disrespected.

I would highly advise potential customers to be cautious when considering doing business with FurnitureWorld. The lack of professionalism, dishonesty about payments, and outright disrespectful treatment of customers is inexcusable.

I sincerely hope that no one else has to go through what I have, as this has been a truly negative experience.

"Sofa with Modular pieces"

Bought a Modular sofa that I could not sort out online.
Don Johnson at the Plymouth branch sorted it out in a matter of minutes with the right pieces right colour and the correct firmness. Excellent service at this branch I would deal with them again.
