I attempted to purchase a ticket from Colombia to US and it was denied by my creditcard.the reason: Dohop placed several smaller charges on my card which flashed them as fraud. And they continued to attempt to charge my card. I will never use them again.

"Do not buy separate flights with Dohop"

I bought tickets for a flight from Rome Fiumicino to Fort-de-France (Martinique) on Booking, thinking of buying a single flight with a stopover in Paris Orly, only to discover that Vueling actually relies on this service called Dohop that sells you two separate flights. So you have to collect your bags from the first flight, leave the airport, check in again to load your bags onto the second flight, go through all the airport controls again and board. On the return flight (FDF -> ORY -> FCO) to complete these operations only 2 hours and 10 minutes were foreseen, an absolutely insufficient time in practice, we were therefore forced to pay an additional cost to change the second flight, with enormous inconvenience, given that we had to wait over 5 hours at the airport). The purchasing process through this service is completely opaque, you think you are buying a single flight and instead they are separate flights, there was a Dohop commission of €155 (for who knows what service, if not to deceive you by making you believe you are buying a single flight with a stopover and instead they are two separate flights) and this amount does not even include insurance coverage. I contacted Dohop who even claims that to board the second flight, they require a minimum of 1 hour and a half, which is clearly science fiction, anyone who has ever traveled knows that it is not possible to get off a flight, collect your luggage, check in again and go through airport security again in an hour and a half. In short, personally I consider it almost a scam. I also think it is a disgrace that Booking.com relies on these services. Never use them, only and always buy flights directly from the airlines' websites so you can carefully plan the timing.

Sehr unseriös, ich habe einen Flug von Düsseldorf nach Reykjavik über Dublin gebucht über die Webseite von Dohop. Bei der Bezahlung, trotz ausreichender Deckung der Kreditkarte wurde die Garantie von Dohop und der Flug von Dublin nach Reykjavik gebucht und bezahlt. Der Flug von Dus nach Dublin nicht, Systemfehler? stand da. Ich habe eine Email von Dohop erhalten, ich solle den Flug auf der Webseite von Eurowings erneut buchen, dort war er aber wegen Gepäckstücken rund 100 Euro teurer, die vorher beinhaltet waren, außerdem wenn ich jeden Flug einzeln buchen wollte, hätte ich das direkt gemacht. Also habe ich im Support angerufen, englisch, der Mitarbeiter konnte mir nicht helfen, ich müsse den Flug bei Eurowings erneut buchen und bezahlen, laut seinem System wäre der mit Gepäck nicht teurer und er könne den nicht für mich buchen. Ich wollte daraufhin (10 min nach Buchung) die beiden anderen Teilleistungen stornieren, was hilft mir der Flug von Dublin wenn ich in Düsseldorf bin, dies wäre bei ihm nicht möglich, das ginge nur über die Webseite von flyplay, wo ich die zweite Strecke schon bezahlt hätte.
Meine Frage nach einem Supervisor oder Vorgesetzten wurde abgelehnt mit der Antwort die wären alle beschäftigt. Jetzt habe ich einen Flug von Dublin gebucht, den ich nicht stornieren kann, keinen Flug von Düsseldorf nach Dublin für den eigentlichen Preis und insgesamt ungefähr das 100x fache an Zeitaufwand und Ärger, als wenn ich direkt zwei separate Flüge ohne Dohop gebucht hätte. Nie wieder!!! Jetzt hat hier zwar Dohop eine Antwort geschrieben, jedoch habe ich keinen Mitarbeiter zugewiesen bekommen, die Teilleistung von Dohop 165,91 € die zurückgebucht werden sollte sind nur 143,93€ zurückgebucht worden, wo der Rest ist keine Ahnung. Einen Tag später und eine erneute Email an den Kundenservice habe ich jetzt auch den Restbetrag zurückerstattet bekommen, der ganze Ärger und Zeitaufwand bleibt natürlich bestehen.
