"Efficient service and does what they say they do"

This is the first time I have had to make a claim from dohop and Ive been really impressed. We missed connecting flights and had to stay overnight. Contact with dohop was through the online chat and once we got past the chat bot and spoke to a customer agent they were brilliant. They guided me through the process, and the claim made later was responded to quickly. Claim form is also easy and quick to complete online. Have received the reimbursement for flights, hotel stay and food (receipts required as proof to make claim)
Very impressed with this service.

"Dohop not fit for purpose"

Unfortunately, my experience of Dohop has confirmed to me that the service they purport to provide is not fit for purpose.
Of course, the point of paying for Dohop Connectsure, is to cover the connecting flight, in a timely fashion, if a delay/cancellation is experienced. In my case, it was a cancellation on the first leg by Easyjet due to fog, resulting in not being able to make our connecting flight. I notified Dohop immediately of this occurrence, via email, WhatsApp and also tried to make numerous telephone calls, all without success. I did receive a response via WhatsApp from a ‘chatbot’, confirming that the conversation would be transferred to a ‘human agent’, but unfortunately this did not take place until the following day. Due to the lack of response from Dohop (when I needed to receive attention promptly in order to rebook urgent flights) I decided it was necessary for me to arrange and pay for my own flights. Having made my bookings, Dohop then argued some days later that they could not action a refund as I did not arrange to do this through Dohop. I tried to explain that this was not possible as they did not respond, therefore rendering the Dohop service not fit for purpose. I continued to correspond explaining the fundamental flaw with the Dohop service (exhaustingly), until a refund was eventually agreed. This was only made possible due to one very helpful and efficient DoHop employee named ‘Nata’ who understood my dilemma. Numerous other operatives had promised to refer and get back to me, but never did. So, thank you Nata!
An experience I would not wish to repeat!
