"A good and trustworthy company"

I transferred a couple of cash isas to Bricklane.com. The process was slick, and and the returns that i’ve seen so far are good. The customer service is very good and I trust them to look after me and my money. I like the flexibility I have to withdraw my money when I want.

"Not transparent enough..."

I've just cashed in my holding with Bricklane.com which yielded a total of £380 for an investment of £6660, £6000 of which was paid as a lump sum initially in April 2017. This represents just over £20 a month although the earnings figure indicates substantially more - £505 in total. That's because this figure is gross and includes the commission taken by the company which is relatively high. There also seems to be no capital growth to speak of as the rental income distributed is usually quoted at around 4%.

I think the company is genuine enough and the staff are helpful and prepared to answer any queries but I am disappointed in the performance of the fund. There are cheaper properties which would give a better return to clients. My own apartment yields over 7%.

Obviously in this climate of low interest deposit accounts, the return looks very attractive but in terms of investment funds it's actually quite low. That said, it's a very straightforward way of saving and easy to use.
I just wish the earnings figure could be clarified to show that it is gross not net profit.

Brilliant business. A very simple and effective plan. The website and bricklane make it very easy to withdraw and deposit money. And, most importantly, fantastic return on investments. I just wish I had more money to invest!
