Don’t believe the hype. The download did not work at the airport because you need wifi (which they don’t tell you). When you contact customer services via the app, you could be holding on for over 30 mins while they authorise your refund! Despite, immediately requesting it, some 10 days later I have still not received my money back. Really terrible customer service.

"Extremely Disappointed with Holafly – Poor Service for a Premium Price"
I’ve had several issues with Holafly, and after giving them a second chance, I’m left completely frustrated. After previously using their Asia unlimited plan for 3 months, I decided to purchase another 3-month plan for both myself and my girlfriend. Unfortunately, the internet often didn’t work properly.
While the issues were sometimes resolved after multiple WhatsApp conversations, things took a turn for the worse. On one occasion, I found myself completely without internet and unable to order a taxi. I had to walk an hour back to my hotel—something that should never happen when you’re paying for an "unlimited" plan that costs €200 per person.
Once I reached the hotel, I contacted Holafly again and was connected with someone named Russell from the service team. He told me he would investigate the problem. I waited patiently, only to receive repeated automated messages asking if I was still there—otherwise, the chat would close in 3 minutes. I was there, waiting for Russell’s response, which took forever. When he finally did reply, all he said was: “I can’t help you.” No explanation. No suggestions. No further assistance. Just that.
Being left stranded without internet in a foreign country, with zero support from a company I paid a premium price to, is absolutely unacceptable.
After I expressed my frustration and told them how unhelpful this was, I immediately asked for a refund. Russell claimed he submitted the request, and since then—radio silence. No confirmation. No follow-up. Nothing.
Holafly’s customer service is abysmal. They leave loyal, paying customers in the dark—literally and figuratively. For the price they charge, I expected professionalism, reliability, and at the very least, a human response that shows they care. Sadly, I got none of that.
Avoid at all costs unless you’re okay paying top dollar to be ignored when it matters most.
