"Shipped to different country"

Filled in my profile with the correct address before placing an order. Atvido received my order, I paid the shipping and they shipped it. But! They shipped it to a different country! How can you mess that up? It’s copy and paste. Contacted them but no reply yet.

Update January 4th. My address has been corrected. I will update the review once I receive my package.

Update January 11th. Picked up my package. Given 4 stars because of the mess up.

Atvido homepage states "Until January 1, all UK to EU shipment import taxes are covered by us". Despite this, the carrier charged taxes to release the package in Denmark.

"THIEVES CROOKS"

This company has wrongfully taken possession of my shipment! I strongly advise against using their services. Despite five months of persistent emails, they have shown a severe lack of knowledge and have been unwilling to help me retrieve my package, resulting in a $150 loss. I possess evidence that my shipment is in their possession, but they have refused to assist me. They appear to be solely acting as intermediaries, handing off shipments to couriers, and providing no other meaningful service. I am thoroughly disgusted by their level of service.

Atvido's recent response is unacceptable; it took them five months to reach this conclusion and they are still requesting payment for the return of my package. I urge them to take responsibility for their unprofessional and inaccurate previous responses. Acknowledge the mistakeS YOU made.

Unfortunately, the uk->eu tax free promotion was not honored, and I had to pay taxes myself. While the delivery was timely and the parcel arrived safely, the additional cost and the hassle of handling the tax declaration myself were significant drawbacks. Awaiting a response from the company regarding a reimbursement. Caution advised regarding promotional offers.
