Lost a parcel over Xmas and have sent multiple emails and now they said a cheque has been sent but no news - all good when nothing has happened but once it has there is almost no channel for follow up!

This is a genuine review probably unlike some of the others that you read. Had an urgent shipment form China that i needed for a photo shoot. The parcel went across 2 provinces in China, to Sth Korea, back to China, then onto Singapore and then to Melbourne where it sat in customs for 3 days. As of writing i have still not received the package although i got a txt, (which i had to pay for), from Interparcel over 24 hrs ago saying it would be delivered that day. Tried to get help from their online customer support, which promises a turnaround in a few hours, but 36 hrs later i had to send another one after not getting any response to the first one. I assume they will offer up some motherhood statements in response to this review but the reality is when things go wrong you are on you own so don't expect any support from them. The staff member who will write some pathetic response to this review will be better off actually getting on the phones and trying to assist with the delivery, but it would appear that sort of work is outside of the scope of Interparcel's responsibilities. It is hard enough to run a small business without lazy service providers such as Interparcel not caring to support you or take responsibility for their actions. Will never use them again.
In regard to Interparcel's response below -
1. Per Interparcel's own tracking, the goods were collected last Tues, NOT Wed
2. I selected Interparcel based on the promised arrival date which has been well and truely exceeded
3. Per my review I also contacted Interparcel's help line over 24 hrs ago but did not get any response until i sent a second message
4. To confirm how useless their service is, despite knowing how urgent my shipment is they just send out a note saying it will be there sometime today. So what do i do, just sit around waiting for Interparcel to turn up, there is no follow up by them to the delivery driver, it will happen when it happens, no care, no responsibility.
As mentioned in my original review, you are on your own, Interparcel just couldn't care less.
I do not want to hear from one of your customer service team, all i want is for you to ring the courier company and arrange for my product to be delivered, but i think what you are saying is that Interparcel have absolutely NO CONTROL whatsoever over the delivery service. I am trying to run a small business and the sloppy, couldn't care less, service from Interparcel is costing me money.

They have system problems but unfortunately if you speak to their call centre you get the old "Call Centre Cancer" problem. The operators at call centres often aren't allowed to properly address anything that is non routine. They keep trotting out the same answers that might not even relate to your question. You might as well be speaking with a poorly programmed robot. PS - Thanks for the weasel words response. I doubt anything will change.

All good for delivery, a little bulky but not very heavy item sent from Sunshine Coast to Melbourne suburb. Very happy, good value no problem at all. Arrived in good condition.
