"Happy to take your money, just not to supply any tiles"
We ordered some sample tiles. BCT took payment on the card, but no sign of the tiles, no response to emails, and no answer on any phone number. The website shows them as dispatched which I suspect is bs if you'll pardon my french.

"Poor experience"
I placed an order on Monday (before checking Trust Pilot). Tried to call them today to increase the order quantity but couldn't get through on any number (Head Office, Sales, Trade, Distribution etc). That raised alarm bells.
Even if they do surprise me and deliver the goods, I can't even increase my order quantity without placing a subsequent order so I'll end up paying for delivery twice. Terrible experience so far and zero expectations of receiving my goods.

"Two months later - no useable tiles and no response"
Update 2 -
No communication from BCT since 20th Jan, when I was told my tiles would arrive 2-4 days later.
No surprise, still no tiles, no response to my emails, and no answer on their phone number.
So, since placing and paying for my order more than 2 months ago I am still out of pocket and have no tiles, just the 36 broken ones I need to dispose of at my own inconvenience.
Order from this company if you have money to burn and time to waste. Will refer them to trading standards if I do not receive my order and a satisfactory response by the end of the week.

I emailed customer service and was told the tiles would be sent to me, expedited delivery. Great I thought....
The tiles arrived this morning. I ordered three packs...not one single tile was usable. Every single tile out of 3sqm was broken and cracked. They are all completely useless.
I have emailed customer service again... Charging 40GBP for delivery, waiting more than a month and receiving 3 boxes of completely broken tiles is beyond disappointing.

Ordered and PAID for tiles more than a month ago on 30th Nov. The confirmation stated I should receive delivery 7-10 days afterwards.
At day 10, with still no sign of delivery or the email dispatch notification I called customer service. I was fobbed off with an excuse about shortages and told that I would receive the tiles in the new year. We had to postpone the tiler and have had no tiles in our hallway for a month now...
So here we are, first week in January, no dispatch email, no tiles, and also no answer on the customer service phone number. I wish I had checked the other reviews before parting with my money and having our renovation plans disrupted.
Unreliable and untrustworthy - avoid.

"BAD EXPERIENCE, DISSAPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE, AVOID"
I have had a really bad experience with this company, I ordered tiles two weeks ago, I had no information about dispatch whatsoever even though in the order confirmation they say the delivery will be within 5-7 days. I called them today, waited ages for them to pick up. The customer service member claimed it was dispatched, but it will be resent again today. They do not sound reliable and do not make any sense. When I asked for a dispatch confirmation, the person hung up on me!!! I had to call again to ask for it, I received an email confirming that my products will be dispatched within 2-3 days even though I have already waited weeks! The final confirmation did not include my order number so I can only hope that it's not some sort of scam. I would not recommend, avoid at all cost if you can.

"No tiles, no refund, no customer service - AVOID!!!!"
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! I ordered some tiles samples over 3 months ago and still haven't received despite chasing and requesting a refund. Customer services just fob you off with empty promises so like other reviewers unless you are willing to 'donate' your hard earned cash, find a more reputable company as I don't believe this company to be genuine at all!!

"Another one saying AVOID"
Another one saying AVOID! I ordered tiles which showed as being in stock. I waited patiently 7 days but nothing turned up. I cancelled when they said they had no stock but after many weeks of emails and calls, I have still not had confirmation that they have cancelled my order or issued a refund. I have started a Section 75 claim through my credit card.

AVOID THIS COMPANY
I placed an order for a set of tiles that have a particular crackle glazing. This requires the tiles to be sealed before they are grouted. Following the instructions included with the tile delivery I then purchased an extremely expensive sealant - about £40 more expensive than other brands. However, the sealant was not effective and when the (black) grouting was applied to the (white) tiles the colour bled, ruining the tiles. British Tile Company have ignored my emails, and the phone line listed on their website does not connect. I am £150 out of pocket and furious.

Ordered a number of tile samples but they did not arrive. Have phoned/messaged the company but no reply at all.
AVOID - they are scammers and you will be pouring money down the drain if you place an order with them. I just wish I’d seen the negative reviews before placing my order!

"Absolutely terrible!"
The worst shopping experience I have ever had! After paying a ridiculously high delivery charge two of the tiles arrived damaged. After nearly two months of chasing them they still have not sent out replacements. Avoid at all costs!

"Why are they still trading?"
Ordered one tile to do a colour match. Was then going to put in order for tiles for 2 bathrooms. Thank goodness I waited as the completely wrong tile was sent and no further response from BCT after loads of chasing- Nothing!
Paid £10 for the wrong tile and lots of annoyance.
There is something wrong with this company...They should not be allowed to be trading.
DO NOT USE THEM!
