Truly Office is great software, but I already have Soft Maker, and Truly Office resembles this software.

Great customer service! Prompt responses to the few questions that I had. Security is very important to me and I am trying to stay away from Google and Microsoft if I can. Really only use spreadsheets and I see no difference from Microsoft Office except for the price!

What I would change in the first email to customers is to give a point form of what to expect ie.

"MS Office compatible with a short learning curve!"

I am a long-time user of Microsoft Office, however, I'm NOT a fan of renting software. I have looked at several alternatives; looking for a MS office compatible program that did not have a steep learning curve. Truly Office does that for me. This package is perfect for home and student use and probably for a lot of small office users. Highly recommended!

I have been using an old 2007 version of office on my desktop computer. I got a new laptop and could not even install this old version of office on my laptop. I switched to Trulyoffice and was able to get it on both computers and it works great. It opens my files just fine on Trulyoffice.

It seems that it would be a good fallback if I lost MS Office. But bottom line, it seems that the cost probably does not justify the shift to TrulyOffice. I have gone back to MS after an early try at Truly, but I will experiment further with Trulyoffice over the next year. Too much formatting was lost in the Trulyoffice version of the Apps, particularly Excel to TrulySheets, so a fast switch at this time was/is too burdensome.
