What can I say. The installation team were very professional. The customer service team went over and above after my wife was admitted to hospital and arranged for my connection to be completed early so I didn’t miss visiting her in hospital. Once up and running….WOW …. I left my old provider in the dark ages.

"Terrible customer service"

I can only review my dealings with the sales team because I didn't proceed beyond (several) initial contacts.
In my experience you shouldn't believe a word of what the sales team say. They are obviously acting on commission and will tell you anything to get a sale.
I was contacted by them in January, trying to get me signed up for their service which would be "up and running in March". It's now September and it's still not connected on my street. They repeatedly tried to get me to sign up to their gigabit service although I live on my own and there's no way could I consume gigabit bandwidth. They lied to me about retaining my phone number - it turns out that it would cost £10 extra p/m but I was told it would be free. Their website lied about costs involved in changing your mind after signing up. I pointed this out to them and they may have changed it, I'm not sure.
Basically they're a bunch of cowboys, and I'll be very surprised if they're still in business 5 years from now. Certainly there's no justice in the world if they are.

Pre-ordered several months ago to take advantage of discounted intro tariff (about £15 p/m less than previous BT copper connection...). Connect Fibre representative turned up to assess the tech issues, said he'd need input from the civil engineering team to dig into the fibre conduit in the street. Received an installation appointment for early Sept and was surprised when both installation engineer Chris (helpful bloke - thanks!) and two of the civils team turned up over a week early. Fortunately I was in, and the street work was achieved quickly and neatly, followed by an external junction box for me and my neighbour, then fibre into the house, internal termination and router.
Service has been fast and stable since then, with good wi-fi reception throughout my 250-year-old house despite thick stone walls. Not three weeks in yet, but so far so good. Impressed, particularly by helpful, responsive tech team, so thanks to everyone involved!
