"Misleading ad…"
I was thinking of selling my flat and having seen an ad for the House Buyer Bureau, I made contact with them.
Although they state 'we buy any home'...they don't!
I have a modern retirement apartment and they are not at all interested in buying it.
Their ad is misleading, why is this not mentioned.
I shall now engage an established estate agent.

Dorothy & Kerrie helped my parents sell their house within a timescale to suit. They were extremely helpful and went the extra mile following an abortive sale from another house buying company. They kept me informed and updated throughout the process and could not fault them in any way. Extremely professional and ethical staff - nothing was too much trouble.

Had an initial chat, they were very open and honest about what they'd be able to offer and why. Not the right option for us right now but appreciated their advice and may return to them if my situation change.

My property is valued at and worth £850,000. These amateur muppets offered £560,00. They are total scam artists and nobody in their right mind will use them

Dorothy was extremely helpful and sympathetic to our situation. The offer was below market value, but that is to be expected as they need to make a profit. While our situation has improved again (as the lost house buyer has returned) if we find we need a house buying service after all, this is the company we will use.

I have been communicating with Dorothy. She has been a pleasure to talk to - clear and to the point without being pushy. Whilst we are not using this service at this point in time, should we need plan B, we shall definitely go forward with this company

As with many, unfortunately they were not able to offer me anything close to what I required but Sue, who dealt with my enquiry was polite, knowledgeable and extremely sympathetic to our situation. No pushy hard sell. Left with a very good impression of the company.

The customer service was excellent, however i believe in results and achievements in customer service. The staff member for HBB did not meet my expectations in fact didn't achieve any result for HBB and myself

Initial contact was positive,straightforward taking time to listen in a genuine manner.
Didn’t come back with the best offer and due to change of circumstance means cannot go any further but they are genuine along with being helpful.
