I was told the policy did not cover cancellation of my trip. I was unwell and couldn’t visit my grandmother as she is elderly. I tested positive for covid after submitting my claim. My claim was rejected as I didn’t seek advice from a doctor. I responded to the email and asked if my policy covered covid as I had tested positive so definitely could not make the trip. It’s been 3 weeks and no reply.

I took out holiday insurance for a trip abroad. The web site was easy to use, and the various options and levels of cover were clearly explained.
The price, although not the cheapest around, was good, and it was worth it to feel well-protected.

They wriggled out on technicallity. In this case was a very small claim, wouldn't trust them on a larger claim.

Easy to navigate website and select suitable product (Travel Insurance). I think I paid a reasonable price for the level of cover I had. I had no issues whilst on holiday, so didn’t need to contact them further.
