I want to recognize a young drainage engineer Matt Norris who attended our block of flats to unblock and drain a very obstinate and challenging blockage in a communal drain. Whilst he was not able to completely solve the problem (it needed heavier equipment and access to another area) he worked with such commitment and determination that I was very impressed. I did fill a contact form to the company so that his high standards could be recognized but have had no response. Such positive attitudes need to be recognized!

"Complete nightmare of a job from start…"
Complete nightmare of a job from start to (not quite) finish. They were tasked with fixing a leak in the property next to mine, in the process of which they narrowed the communal pipes so much that my toilet and shower kept blocking. It took 18 months and thousands of pounds for them to find the fault. Throughout that period, I did not have access to a functioning bathroom on 29 separate occasions, having to spend a night away from my property for a total of 18 days. I consistently highlighted that the issue only arose the moment they had ‘fixed’ the leak and was gaslighted into believing that there may be a separate issue with my own plumbing – but hundreds of pounds to a different company confirmed that this was categorically not the case. Best of all, London Drainage eventually broke and had to replace my toilet (which was never the problem to begin with). They were booked to finally repair the actual fault on January 15th, but I have just been informed that this needed to be rescheduled to with no clear date set yet for the repair – no doubt I will have further instances of not being able to use my bathroom in the meantime.

Was quite a palaver getting a drain pump replaced and a blockage cleared, took multiple follow ups and visit, but they did fix it in the end.

After having a plumber sort the issue that the engineer highlighted, it didn't fix the issue. So not too impressed at the engineer and the company. While donating to charity is great, using that to gaslight and demean customers that actually they are great is pretty poor.

Terrible after-sales service, avoid at all costs!
I spoke with London Drainage Facilities to find out the reason I was having issues with my toilet drains. The engineer who arrived was professional and helpful, that was unfortunately where the good parts end.
They require you to pay a 2 hour deposit of over £220. They said the job would most likely take less time and they would refund any time used. The engineer was here for no longer than 1 hour. They refused to refund anything, with them lying saying the engineer arriving 30 minutes before he actually turned up. I provided evidence showing his phone call. The customer service director, Lucie Fuller, was quite arrogant lying about this and also stated the engineer needed to draw up a plan of the property in his car which could take 45 mins (literally looks like a 5-10 min job) especially as he wrote up all the stats and details at the property. So the engineer was here for 1hr and maybe needed a maximum of 15/20 mins to write up the reports.
During this time, Lucie, failed to respond and reply to me and was very disorganised. Following this, the person who was very helpful when booking and taking my money, Craig Norton, Operations Manager said he would review all the information and come back to me same day. Many days and weeks have gone by with no response despite chasing.
I then started trying to get hold from Craig all of this week with them dodging my calls with them being in non-stop meetings all day long apparently.
Still awaiting a partial refund for the time that was not used and will be contacting my bank for a chargeback. I will also be advising my building management to avoid these cowboys as if there is an after-sales issue, they don't care at all.
